For the next 4-5 weekends I can make it

I missed the first one of these and would like to meet some fellow AA members. This time I'll have to keep and eye out for the time and place.

I usually leave carts purchased from J-F out in the open for a few weeks after receiving them and the general circulation of air in the house 'washes' out most (if not all) of the smokey smell. Glad I won't have to do that in the future. Congrats on becoming a dad. "Yep, I'll be a happy father now! " - wait until the 2:00 AM feeding of the baby starts - glad those days are long behind me

YEA!!! My cart arrived today!! Plugged it into the new A/V modded coleco and... the title screen loaded and then nothing Tried it on another system (not modded) and it works great ... well once I found a working controller... Played for a while and really enjoyed the game. Like the multi-colored cover on the instructions and liked having the box insert (SNES?). The red casing is nice also. This will look nice with the Mario controllers purchased earlier.

So-So to BIG 2600 Atari player (was my first game system) - Big Colecovision fan...NEVER thought I'd own one of those Intellivision systems... in 198? 5-6?ish time frame... Fast forward a few years and I walk into a local retro game store and the owner convinces me to buy (for $15) an intellivision system, 2 intellivision II systems, a keyboard, 2 'computer' systems, 10-15 boxed games and 5-10 loose games... I really thought about it for a while and then said 'what the hell...' (For a long time I thought I made a bad deal...) Fast forward to today and not so bad.... still HATE the controllers however... For the last few years on EBAY I have always asked about shipping (and handling) on multiple items BEFORE the auction has ended.... Some do - some won't... I bid accordingly... On a recent auction I emailed the Seller about shipping and was told that I could get lower shipping for 7 items.... I won all seven auctions and was charged FULL shipping and handing for ALL items... I emailed the Seller and 'he' agreed the 'excess' shipping was wrong and agreed to refund the excess. BUT as ALWAYS "BUYER BEWARE!!" I guess I'm always inclined to say 'BUYER BEWARE"...

Darn!!! ... I'd love to place an order for a CIB for this and Racer! but - sigh - christmas means 'toys' for the kids and not me Maybe in a few weeks (more like months...) I can still order one after all of my Coleco / Vectrex / EBAY/ Big screen TV buys!!! Need to rob a bank (or the ex's bank account... )

OK an improvement in my score - 97364 I hate the 'move in a direction - keep going in that direction' until joystick position is changed... lost many lives because of this... maybe if I sent yurkie(?) a few joysticks I would do better!!! As far as a next game challenge... has any game NOT been played yet (original release)? If a homebrew is selected - can everyone play?

OK - ROM next week, Manual and box the next, produce the cart the next... end of January release! ----- Fantastic!!!... :lust: LOL in my dreams!! Honestly I can wait, a little while I'm getting old..., for new releases. Thanks to Luc, Eduardo, newcoleco, retroillucid, Scott, Dvik and many others who have kept the COLECO alive!

Pretty sure I'm on the list for Gulkave. Heck put me on the list for ALL the others also! Would love to see Track and Field on my coleco... Thanks Luc (And hey give Eduardo a small break... those 1 and 3 am feedings are murder!... well they were for me 15-20 year ago )

Hey! (Damn it!!!) we (well I.. I.. I.. don't care) if it takes a few weeks or more (been waiting for Pier solar for well over a year!!!!! ) - just get the stuff to us to play on our colecos!!!!!!! GO 5-11under - HYPER DRIVE time!!

Got my copy in the mail today! Hope to try it out later tonight. Thanks To Al, Neo and anyone else who help get this game out.

Got to dig out my cart and play on the Coleco (could be hard with the 'bum' joystick). Anyway on emulation my high score for now is a weak 69900 (Hi score eons ago was over 124K).

Got my copy yesterday. Haven't had a chance to play but I did receive (I think) a 'bonus' item!!! Opened the case and found two copies of the instructions!? Tim / Al - If your short a copy - I know where it is....

Just read Darthkur's earlier post - I agree... I'd have take the cart out of the Coleco and thrown it at my parents!!! Lucky for them I was 19+ at the time and bought my own games

OK - i've played this game about 50-60 times more and NOWHERE near the 25600 I came up with before!!!! I propose that we BAN 'kid' games from the high score club!!! (mainly because I'm terrible at the 'kid' games ) Good luck to all in the upcoming rounds!

Thanks to ThumpNugget - Atariage - and Albert! Cool stuff - brings back the memories. I'm pretty sure I have a few of these comics stored in 'my vault'. I'll have to investigate this coming weekend... thanks to all Jeff
