    I usually leave carts purchased from J-F out in the open for a few weeks after receiving them and the general circulation of air in the house 'washes' out most (if not all) of the smokey smell.

     

    Glad I won't have to do that in the future. :)

    I don't have my cart yet...

     

     

     

    YEA!!! My cart arrived today!! :lust:

     

    Plugged it into the new A/V modded coleco and... the title screen loaded and then nothing :sad:

     

    Tried it on another system (not modded) and it works great :) ... well once I found a working controller...

     

    Played for a while and really enjoyed the game. Like the multi-colored cover on the instructions and liked having the box insert (SNES?). The red casing is nice also.

     

    This will look nice with the Mario controllers purchased earlier.

    Ever since George Plimpton appeared on the tube and spat on the Atari 2600, I declared that I would never ever own an Intellivision. Tonight, I was weak and gave in to the temptation of this:

    So-So to BIG 2600 Atari player (was my first game system) - Big Colecovision fan...NEVER thought I'd own one of those Intellivision systems... in 198? 5-6?ish time frame...

     

     

    Fast forward a few years and I walk into a local retro game store and the owner convinces me to buy (for $15) an intellivision system, 2 intellivision II systems, a keyboard, 2 'computer' systems, 10-15 boxed games and 5-10 loose games...

     

     

    I really thought about it for a while and then said 'what the hell...' (For a long time I thought I made a bad deal...)

     

     

    Fast forward to today and not so bad.... still HATE the controllers however...

    For the last few years on EBAY I have always asked about shipping (and handling) on multiple items BEFORE the auction has ended.... Some do - some won't... I bid accordingly...

     

    On a recent auction I emailed the Seller about shipping and was told that I could get lower shipping for 7 items.... I won all seven auctions and was charged FULL shipping and handing for ALL items... I emailed the Seller and 'he' agreed the 'excess' shipping was wrong and agreed to refund the excess. BUT as ALWAYS "BUYER BEWARE!!"

     

     

    I guess I'm always inclined to say 'BUYER BEWARE"...

    OK an improvement in my score - 97364 :P

    I hate the 'move in a direction - keep going in that direction' until joystick position is changed... lost many lives because of this...

     

    maybe if I sent yurkie(?) a few joysticks I would do better!!!

     

     

    As far as a next game challenge... has any game NOT been played yet (original release)?

     

    If a homebrew is selected - can everyone play?

    Got my copy yesterday. Haven't had a chance to play but I did receive (I think) a 'bonus' item!!! Opened the case and found two copies of the instructions!? Tim / Al - If your short a copy - I know where it is.... :cool:
