1.) Love our system and games! I do... it's just... well... I don't have time for it now... next year - when I retire and don't work 60 hours a week! 2.) Post a reply to this thread and tell us all at least one of the following: a.) How you got your system? Worked for an insurance company and around 15-18 years ago... a couple of ladies and I would go to 'garage sales' on Fridays before going to lunch. Found a complete in box system (with like 7-10 complete games) - box didn't have the styrofoam inserts - for $5 ($10?) and decided to pick it up. (It was ALL downhill from there... ) Over the years I've picked up some home-brews and unreleased games but not all (Amok / Tutankham / 128 in 1 multi cart and most recently the Mage Games from Revival Studios and a 'ton' of Videopac games from none other than Scotty (or at least I think so - god I work to much these days...)). b.) Your favorite memory of the system or games? Sorry didn't own the system 'back in the day' but say once in a while I pull it out and play the games (once in ten years!) - (hell I have 15-20 Coleco games purchased that I have test yet!!!!) c.) The weirdest thing you have typed into "Type and Tell" to make The Voice say? Well maybe some day.... 3.) Ordered from him before and have always LOVED the games I've received. Based upon the limited knowledge I know... 'he works at his own pace' and does eventually get things done ('dang dude - literally slow...'). MY thoughts in quotes. But ultimately - I very happy with the end product. OK guys - you disagree at some level... SegaSnatcher wanted more - fine - his opinion ("wish it had more - hope the project is funded" - my words) TPR points out what the system is ( "don't complain about what is 'missing' - lets get this funded" - again my words) Either way - this is a FIRST step and mistakes may happen. I give high praises to CollectorVision (and all involved) in making this effort to keep this system alive. I've backed the project - I thank SegaSnatcher for pointing out what he thinks are flaws - I thank TPR for giving an 'opposing' view. Lets move forward and get this thing done. Jeff31

Hmm! I've typed this reply over a long time of thinking. A bunch of individuals have taken it upon themselves to 'create' a new coleovision unit at a 'large?' amount of expense (and time...)... and have put time in determining end cost... They launch a kickstater campain and 'a lot' (most? of what I see from the community is ? negative!) I paid $200 dollars for my first coleco in 83 and now for $300 dollars I can upgrade to the future! WOW! COOL. For those 'downplaying' this - fine - your opinion - but I disagree. I DO NOT REPLY to negative reply's - but please do so if you wish. Free speech and all... I'm here to help the community' I want this system to help preserve my old colecovision and its games... Love the SD option... Need more info on F18A stuff Jeff Again - you have your opinion I have mine... 'nuf' said... When I got the email asking if interested I responded Yes and got an email the next day (or two later) confirming my interest - noting that when the game was ready to ship I'd be sent payment instructions. Now maybe I was and early responder (or maybe I've done business with Opcode for more than 10 years...) and got lucky. I'm guessing he gets easily 50-100 emails a day when info like this comes out. Give him time to respond (a few days). If he doesn't request info again (I have!). Jeff

I'm 'glad' that bmack36 / retroillucid / opcode could AT LEAST deal 'and talk' about this issue in the background. You couldn't come to a deal - fine! The Collectorvision system will not support SGM. Cost $200 (or whatever). Let the consumer decide it the system is worth the price without SGM... Frankly I'm an individual where $20 is NOT nothing... but I've supported Collectorvision / Opcode and PIxelboy as best as I could. I truly believe I see each side of the disagreement. I hope that ALL parties take a step back - breath for a week or two - and re-address THE PROBLEM... My 2 cents Jeff31

Anyway, stuff like this needs to be kept behind closed doors, so just PM each other of better yet, call and talk seeing as there is just too much emailing, texting, tweeting, etc. this days which usually confuses and inflames the situation compared to actual spoken conversation. Shit, go old school, pick up a phone, preferrably a rotary and make a call. DUH - YEAH! Said it in the past...The community doesn't need this drama... He said / he said / claimed / didn't claim! Geez I like you all and the stuff you put out... but this stuff TURNS ME OFF TO THE COLECOVISION SCENE... and trust me I feel this is true of others. DO NOT KILL the golden goose guys. Yurkie has done great work for me in the past. This appears to be a 'mistake' that has been resolved (at least I hope so). If you have concerns - email him and get quotes / time frames for repairs etc. I for one will send him my systems in the future as needed. Sorry Todd that this has happened. Yes - I waited for YEARS for Warrior - but come on... (and yes I've 'backed' individuals who've had problems for a time - but NOT THIS LONG!) This sorta reminds me of Tutronix for the Vectrex. Guy takes YEARS to produce games - but he DOES not ask AND GET money UNTIL the game is ready to ship. I paid for the controller and game on 7/12/2012 nearly 6 YEARS AGO. ANY updates? - NADA - NOTHING --- I had a heart attack - something else? NOPE I'm a real sucker (obviously) - give me a freakin update... GOD I've 'seen' individuals RIPPED apart (ON THESE FORUMS) for not delivering goods that were promised... guess Fury gets a pass... Send me my game and controller.... Uhmmm - wait... You ONLY want to hear from the 'NEGATIVE' side? (and not the 'POSITIVE'?) This sounds really one sided to me! ALL should be aloud to voice their opinions - let the customer decide - I have had NOTHING but great service from Todd (sometimes at his cost for my problem). That being said... Todd - IF YOU'VE F'D up then say so - even if it was a few times - Please you've done GREAT work for so many!!! Customers not getting what they requested - find someone else to have your items fixed... and file your complaint with PAYPAL / EBAY NO business exists that does 100% customer service (although - never mind won't go there...) I'm currently out about 400-500 dollars to some members of AA and elsewhere who OWE me stuff that I will NEVER receive... Complained about it but - guess what - still don't have the stuff... Guess I should blame Albert .... geez Jeff31
