Still remember waking up one night and found my mom and dad watching the Kennedy/Nixon debates on TV - late 1960? Jeff31 Like This

Nice collection - I'll give you a $1 for the Jungle Hunt Box

For me - I'll wait. Been dealing with Ed for 10-12 years. He comes thru - sometimes rather late - but he does deliver (been F----- over by some former Atariage members in the past - Ed is NOT one of them). Getting his wife from Brazil to the USA was a big hassle I'm sure (Sorry Ed Grazi If I say to much) - family comes FIRST. I look forward to future game releases from OPCODE / CollertorVison and Team PIxelboy (and others!) Jeff31

Talked with the guy yesterday. His mom lives in Virginia (I'm/we are in Michigan). He said that the next time he talked to his mom he'd have her 'dig the stuff up' and get a game list. Again this might take a month or two and it is 'most likely common stuff' - who knows! He mentioned that his uncle was in his 20's at the time and was play testing games. He's to hoping that something new turns up! Jeff31

Where to begin... While at work today (perhaps yesterday), a story on the news in our break room (work at a factory) came up about 'recent' video game systems (PS1 / XBOX etc - LOL)... Long story short - a co-worker mentioned that his Uncle was a 'game tester' for the Odyssey and Odyssey 2. Uhmm OK - he has no reason to lie to me. Cool "what do you have?" I asked him. He says that all of the stuff is in boxes at his mom's place and that he hasn't looked/played it for years. He played a bunch of games a a kid... and there was 'stuff that was never released'? Now his mom might live locally or on Venus - not sure... Is there anything that the community would ask him to look for? And mind you this could be months before a response is given... Jeff31

Kristof has always sent me an email asking if I was interested in his games. Hope he does so with this on also...

I like you both and your contributions to the scene... I know you have 'history'... So can you both PLEASE take a step back and breath!!! Please!!! ...for the rest of us... Pointing out others faults and short comings (or whatever) does NOTHING to promote our like of the Colecovision/Adam... I've said it in the past - PLEASE - take your criticisms to the PM's - I DO NOT want to see your dirty laundry here. NOT saying that you have valid concerns/grieveances - work them out between yourself. I hate seeing contributors of the Coleco 'fighting' each other - It really is NEGATIVE to me. Thank You Jeff31 -
Fast update. Son tried the flash/floppy firmware and it worked great - he play a few games with no problems. Thanks to all. Maybe I can play once I stop working 7 days a week. Jeff
-
Sorry it took so long to reply - holidays and all. He says it is a 1.44 gotek. He used the 'cortex firmware' from their site. It says they should all be compatible. He hasn't tried the flashfloopy firmware but will look into it. Jeff
-
I'll check with my son and let you know. Thanks Jeff
-
OK - sorry for bringing up my old thread... but my son has tried several times over the last few months to get the 'gotek' module' to run... but has had NO SUCCESS...! SH__!. I'll get with him to discuss the details and respond appropriately... Thanks Jeff31

Just to let people know (and I'm NOT 100% sure) but I believe that Ed's wife (Grazi) just got to the states last weekend. So I'm sure they are busy getting her settled in (and Ed is trying to convince her that the Boston weather now (cloudy / snowy / freezing) will 'soon' be like Brazil's (sunny / tropical / warm) - yeah good luck with that! (Grazi - what is this snow stuff and 5 feet deep!!!!) Trust us Grazi it will get better! Wait a guy is saying this... never mind. Anyway Coleco stuff can waIt a few days... Jeff -
COMING SOON : Risky Rick In Dangerous Traps

Me - want! -
Really liked Big Blue. Would like to get this also.

Just my take on these 2 releases. Ed and Grazi were looking for a way to help them finance Grazi's trip to the US - period. This can't be cheap I'm sure... (getting someone from Brazil to the US! - beam me up Scotty or just walk across the open border :-( ) You couldn't do a DKA release (too many people interested...) or similar. So look for some 'obscure' MSX games and hope that 20 people respond to help with Grazi's expenses. Damn - turned out great!!! Oops to great - Dam what to do - I think that what you choose was a good choice..) Welcome to the US Grazi - I think most of us will speak in your favor. Jeff

When released - I would like to buy!
-
OK - I got my 2 systems and 12 games (each) (mostly boxed) (one with star castle and the other polar rescue) - around 12-15 years ago for $125 each (yes a steal - but at the time I didn't know)). Given time etc I feel this price is a tad high. I was thinking maybe $175? JMHO.
-
From my 'very limited' knowledge on the subject... (and don't take my word on it). But I think Ed goes to Brazil for about a month - which means he should be home 'now'. I'm hoping for an update later this week also.
-
Jeez... OK 30 years ago my best was 158K on level 1 (just checked my computer PUNCH cards...) Damn you younger players!!! Level 2 will be harder - so (MOST) likely a lower score... I told myself to play the games and just enjoy (who cares if you come in fourth (Umm LAST you idiot!) - every one remembers the person who finishes out of medal competition ) Sigh Jeff PS OK but I'll try... this IS a fun group of players. (no promises - see below - most days I'm 'spent' after work and do no have time) Now IF I can find time to play (have worked 42 of the last 43 days).

If that's true - It would have been great to know about a year ago! My mom past away 11 months ago and she had never cleaned out the garage (my dad passed 12 years ago) which had around 200-250 cigar boxes in it. We thought they were 'worthless' - but someone bought them in the estate sale... Sigh - never throw stuff out Wait then you end up on those hoarder shows! Jeff
-
OK Bill ya got me there - I have WAY to much stuff also.. Jeff31
