Ummm - not sure. Kid is asleep now but anyway I thought that you just added files to the jump/flash drive and then just selected the game to play

Bill - Yes I agree. Like I said... I was just ranting to me they are not worth buying. IF YOU WANT TO GET INTO CLASSIC GAMING - these systems are the way to go. With the next step being a 'flash'? cart system - then actual games. Jeff

Update. I've (OK well my son) has tried smaller USB drives. They work for a while but then fail. Then the gotek screen 'just show dashes' or 'you must replace volume 'gamename'. (Me - this is why I didn't want to go this route - if it ain't plug in play - F--- it. My time is very limited. Glad the son is willing to figure this out for me...) Help would be appreciated. Jeff31

sorry time to rant a bit. OK - so I see flashback systems for EVERY system (dam there's probably one for the xbox6 & playsation 5!). I may be the only person who doesn't give a CRAP about these CRAP systems... (IMHO - they are CRAP) Atari flash back 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 - GOD how many can they make Sega Genesis flash back 1 2 3 4 Intellivision 1 2 3 4 Colecovision 1 2 3 4 5 6 .......... $40-50 bucks each..... you get the picture.....! Yes if you don't have the games this is an easy way to get them... But for me these 'retro' systems ARE JUST GARBAGE - IMHO. SORRY FOR MY RANT - JUST GIVE ME GOOD GAMES (ON CART) TO PURCHASE) Sigh - enjoy your retro systems! Jeff31

Last time I saw a retro system (2600 / coleco / etc) in a thirft store... hmmm well never going back to 1998 (mid michigan area). Have seen a few dozen 2600 games a few intellivision carts... way over priced). I stop by goodwill and such stores - but very much less than I did 10 years ago - nothing there worth buying. Around 1997 a kid in the neighborhood sold me his Coleco for $5 (it worked - and yes a good deal)

Finally had a chance to play my McWill modded Lynx. Looks great. Don't have an unmodified unit to compare (I think?! - no time to look!) but very nice upgrade. It's worth the price whichever way you go (DIY or McWill)). Looking forward to the future upgrades he may offer! Jeff

I purchased GnZ because I wanted the game. Sure, some of it was because only 30 - 50 - 60 carts were made (10%) - but I wanted the game, mostly (90%). If I paid $50 bucks for it - sure I was hoping that some day I'd get $60-75 - but 357 Euros - that's insane. I also wanted Maze Maniac but only 20 or so of those were made. Missed out on that by a few days. Will I play $$$ bucks for it - no. Would I like a cart of the game - yes. Bottom line is - develop a game - estimate a need (100 carts?) then 30 sell so what do I do with 70 carts! or 300 want it - crap! If you promised a 100 cart run then 'stick to your guns' (as Youki did) - I;m OK with it. If you said a 100 cart run and more runs if interest is shown - fine. I think his 'solution' was fine - re-engineer the game as sell it to all that wanted it. Jeff

Had McWill mod 2 Game Gears and a Lynx. I've only had time to check the GG's... WOW! Fantastic improvement (I still have a working non-upgraded unit - won't be playing it!). If you're into GG and can't do electronics work then I'd highly recommend this upgrade from him - worth every penny I spent (and yes it is rather expensive). Jeff PS hope to check out the upgraded Lynx in a day or so (Poo - had to work the weekend)

Update. Got a Gotek (OK my son did). Installed 'software(?)' and things haven't gone well (won't boot on startup(?) ).... I need to get with him to figure out what problems he is having... When I do I'll ask for help. Thanks! Jeff

Sigh. (?) I did purchase a laser disc 'back in the day' - CLD-900 - as I recall - and several movies (unit $1000 - movies $30-$50). (Now have a 900, 909A(?) and 2 Cld-100A's(?) Then I saw the new CLD-A100(?) that could play Sega / Turbo Grafix / etc games - COOL - but newly married couldn't afford the price...! fast forward '20' years and I now have 2 units and all the add ons (except the Karoke thing...).... I have a few laser active 'games' but when I look the ones I don't have are $$$$$!!!! Sorry won't spend a million on these games today. Jeff -
Well - I've ordered and received several games from Fury over the years. Then I 'heard' rumors etc. Something(?) happened... I did get Warrior about 4 years after I ordered it. BUT I did get it. At this point I feel that I still might get Hellhole but only he (they?) know. I've got about $200-$300 dollars 'invested' in games that I'll never see (some of it here Thanks Chickybaby ) Jeff31

OK - finally got around to removing the batteries (2 mother boards). By removing them - I mean desoldering the 'leads' and pulling the whole thing out. Do I need to replace this - or will the system run fine with out 'battery backup'? Really only use the system to play games a few time a year. Still looking into a gotten solution.

I waited - for years - for this game to come out. I 'think' it would be interesting to 'see the background' of the development of the game. Yikes! Glad I got my systems when I did (1999-2000) #1 System +12 games (4-5 boxed) - $125. #2 (from the same place) System + 12 games (4-5 boxed) - got some dup games in this one but also got a Polar Rescue w/overlay. -

Sorry you feel that way - but it is my 'candid / sincere' opinion - you have yours - case closed. Good luck finding the games - as I hope to find the ones I'm missing also. Jeff
