The best part of that game is grabbing on to the truck and getting all that speed. I actually like this game better than super skateboarding.

Oh and my other girlfriend, eventhough she's not into video games, she likes Asteriods. But she loves to play House of the Dead with me and pinball in the Arcade.

My other girlfriend loves Kaboom.

My girlfriend loves Space Invaders.

Well it could go two ways, if he really was your friend, he would keep his word and sell it to you for $1.00. But then again, how come you didn't tell him what it was worth in the first place.
A good friend of mine gave me a Tooth Protectors and I let her know up front how much it was worth. But she still insisted that she give it to me. She likes to play the Sims so I gave her the "Hot Date" expansion pack. I'm going to take her out to dinner. And pretty much give her anything she wants for giving me this game. But thats just what I'd do.

I guess mine would be:
Swordquest Water World
Tooth Protectors
Tomarc the Barbarian/Motorcross Racer

For me the top moments were:
1. Finally getting to Solaris.
2. Beating Frankenstein.
3. Beating Pitfall 2 with a perfect score
4. Finding the "Sky Kingdom" on my own in Mountain King.

What turned me on to this game when I was little was the fact that my friend and I never read the instructions and found that you could fire the your lasers with the second joystick. We thought that was really cool. We actually had more fun playing the game with two people. We played it until we got the Admiral rank.

I am very fortunate to have a friend who gave an extremely rare Atari game. "Tooth Protectors" I asked her, do you know how much this is worth? She said "Yes, but you've been really good to me so I'll let you have it, on the condition that you never sell it." I hope eveyone else has friends as wonderful as this. She is very special to me. *Sniff*

Are those videos actually helping you?

I believe the game you are talking about is Archon which was a chess like game where you had to fight for the square you wanted to occupy. And there was a sequal which I like also called Archon 2. That game you had a certain amount of power which you would use to summon creatures to fight for you. It was never release for the Atari 2600. But it was released on a lot of home computers, Comadore 64, Apple etc. I don't know if its possible, but I wouldn't mind seeing it ported on to the Atari.

Sounds like everyone is over analyzing this stuff. My personal opnion; if you find it, you find it, if not you're no worse off than you were before. as for Scorpion Tales the one I know of goes like this:
A scorpion came to a river bank where a turtle was basking in the sun. He asked the turtle if he could transport him across the river on his back. The Turtle replied, "No, I cannot trust you scorpion for surely you will sting me when we reach the other side."
"I will drown if I try to swim across myself. Would you carry me across if I promise not to sting you when we reach the other side?" The scorpion asked.
The Turtle pondered the scorpion's proposition and decided to take the scorpion's word. "You give me your word that you will not sting me when we reach the other bank."
"I promise." The scorpion replied.
"Then climb on."
The scorpion crawled up onto the turtle's and the turtle started to swim to the other side. About halfway across the river the scorpion stung the turtle on the back of the neck.
"Oh why? Oh why did you sting me scorpion? Now surely both of us will die. I from your sting and you will drown because you cannot swim. Why did you do this to me?"
"Because thats what scorpions do." The scorpion replied.
I don't know if this is the scorpion tale Pitfall Harry was talking about. But pretty much anything called a scorpion tale is one that has a deceptive twist. Here's another story if anyone's interested.

Quick, someone call Varan's mom and see if she has any "old" stuff she wants to get rid of.

Take a look at Stargate/Defender 2. I think Atari did a darn good job at porting that game. Star Treks to too bad either. Kudos to Sega for that one.
-
Never heard of it. Now there is a vintage toy store on Carson street where they do have some Atari game. I haven't been there in a very long time.

Heh, Kindness and Philly is contradiction in terms. I'm orginally from Philly and I know it can be pretty rough. But you're Everyone at the conventions seem very nice. And I always have a lot of fun.

I used to live in PA, but now I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I don't know how much more East Coast you can get.

Its not too difficult. I took a picture of the screen when I was little and sent it in to get the Patch.

I was on the Intellevision Lives site and saw some sketches for unreleased Atari games. I was just wondered if anyone has ever come across any other drawings or sketches of Atari Games.

I knew these girls in college who would get drunk/high and play Barbie on my Friend's Genesis system. What they did aftewards; no one was allowed know.

I actually beat Solaris on the VCS. I have only done it once and have yet to do it again. What helped me beat it was using the rack that came with Spy Hunter that lets you use both buttons, a rapid fire device and a Boss Joystick. (boss joysticks can be turned upside down, this allows you to fly normally through a red zone) The sector just above Solaris sector is a red zone.
The ending is pretty tame. You land on the planet and the sky flashes. But what do you expect from the Atari. This by far is one of my all time favorite games.

M*A*S*H is more fun if you play with another person. By itself it isn't that challenging or exciting.
