Thanks Guys! @TheMontezuma The video helped a lot! @foft Yes, I've read it (dev doc. ) briefly before, but it wasn't too intuitive at first, now with more knowledge it may get better And changing post divide setting fixed the distortion (obviously), great! @MADRAFi Your configurator is really useful as well with clean menu system, good job! @Duddie Last but not least, Retronics! What an excellent piece of hardware PokeyMax is, to have that many capabilities in one device 🏆👍

  3. Hi Guys, I've just recently installed PokeyMax v3, so far only with A4-A7 lines connected and atm I'm testing via standard mono output of the "Monitor". On IK or Draconus music I've expierienced signifficant distortion, before I proceed with next steps, I'd like to sort this one first. Did someone experience similiar issue, please? The thing is, the most options of PokeyCfg seem rather misterious It's really hard to guess what are Post divide, GTIA mixing, Restrict or Output values doing. Some have 4 columns to set, some 5 (like output). Is somewhere a readme or manual that could explain this and that to the user, please? And what should be the default, standard values? The one on screenshot are what I have "out of the box".
  4. Yesterday I updated my SIDE3 (not 3.1), thank you @flashjazzcat. On this occasion, I tested Bomb Jake .bin image but since it didn't work, I guess Corina cartridges are not supported yet?

  10. Well, TIX is extremely talented, but here it's still not enough for it to look alike given resolution limit he works with, so I agree with one of the statements above: his previous set was better. Especially new jumping Bruce looks weird, more like a naked Tarzan in black stockings, sorry! 🤭

  15. Absolutely wrong. The main reason behind it is unrealistic/difficult to achieve memory requirements the Authors are/were trying to meet.

I for one can't stop dreaming of Silk Worm, it's an outstanding vertical shooter (incredible on Amiga, very good on C64), for me personally much more tempting than R-Type alike "cosmic" shooters. There was an attempt made by @Eagle about 10 years ago, but in 2019 he admitted it would require complete rewrite with new approach (the chances seem slim for it to happen, I guess). (attached xex is newer version and has added background gfx made by Vidol) For comparison Amiga, C64 versions: SilkWorm.xex
