For overall fun, I would have to say Keystone Kapers for the 2600. A close second is Enduro for the 2600.

Give me a break! Simply because the 2600 is 30 years old doesn't mean it's dead. As a child of the '80s, I can remember coming home from school one day in 1982 and jumping with excitement at having my very own 2600 system. As other posters have noted, trends come and go, and those who believe that the NES was the first video game system need to take a course in Video Game History 101.
Mike, your post sounds rather apocalyptic. I must disagree with the premise of your post.

I would have to say that without a doubt my favorite game company has to be Activision. Granted, the game play was rather predictable on many of their titles, but how can you argue with great titles like Grand Prix, Enduro, StarMaster, Kaboom! and Pitfall!?

We have an Aladdin's Castle at Greenwood Mall in Bowling Green, KY, next to the food court. I played a lot of games there in the early and mid-'90s. From what I remember, it was about half kids' games and the rest were coin-op video games and pinball machines. I haven't been there in several years, so I'm not sure as to what their current games are.
