  2. I remember years ago attending a computer expo at the International Centre in Toronto. They had Amiga's and the new line of STs there. When I saw the new STs, I was impressed, they looked stunning. At the time, I had an Amiga 500 and just somehow felt that the St was going to take over as they looked far more professional, and they certainly had a good footing in the desktop publishing sector. It's too bad neither system survived the early 90s. Unlike some, I feel a closer connection between the STs and the Amigas. They were both governed by Trameil for a time. I often wonder what would have happened if Commodore had bought the Apple ][, or if Trameil had of stayed at Commodore and merged with Atari or what would have happened if either company had of been able to capture a significant portion of the business world. What did you guys use your STs for? What are your fond memories of the system from those pioneering days of the computer industry? S
  3. Was it Bushnell who founded the company and had the initial vision? Or, was it Trameil, the founder of Commodore who rescued Atari and spearheaded the Atari ST line of computers? Atari had a roller coaster ride after Bushnell sold the company to Warner and I wonder if the pull between developing a gam machine or PC was what eventually brought down the company.
