  1. Sale pending on another site (dirt bike chat forum). And for full price too!
  2. Hmm....... Scrap book glue. I didn't even think to ask my wife, she has all kinds of scrap booking stuff in the basement and might even have some of this wonder glue. Thank for the info.
  3. Sorry It was all I had handy and wanted try something before I lost the labels. I already have a few games without labels and hate using post its or other labels to tell them apart.
  4. I had a hand full of commons that the labels were falling off and tried some Gorilla Glue, but that stuff tends to bubble up and make it lumpy under the labels. Is there a special label glue or certain technique I need to use?
  5. I fly solo. The wife hates waiting for me to sort through a few hundred bins or shelves to find that one lonely deal of the day. Kinda like I enjoy, um yeah right, standing around the clothing store with our three kids while she tries on several outfits only to leave empty handed, cause everything looked better on the hanger.
  6. NICE!!!!!!! I wish I could have gotten a job like that. I personally would of chalked it up to a great deal on a rare cart and payed the shop keeper and split. I feel if it is not sneaky, immoral or illegal then why offer unnecessary info to make things worse for you. I guess though your route payed off better in the long run.
  7. Thanks for the replies. I thought I would offer it up to gang here first before it gets evil-bayed or listed elsewhere. If any one is even slightly interested I am up for offers, and you never know I might come up with more games to throw in the pile as I add to my personal collection and get doubles.
  8. I made a minor oops and apparently misplaced the video switch box, so $40.00 with free shipping.
  9. This is a 2600 four switch wood grain model with original power supply and switch box. The joysticks are missing the rubber boots on the sticks but still work good. The games are as follows: Combat, Pac Man, Missiles Command, Asteroids, E.T., Frogger (missing the label), and Centipede. All parts and games have been tested and work great. $45.00 for all with free shipping to U.S. residents. Sorry I have no pics of the system or the sticks, because I have no digital cam at the moment and they wouldn't fit on the scanner like the games did.
  10. Nice controller collection! I was wondering if anybody was going to respond and was beginning to think this was a pointless thought. Thank you for proving otherwise.
  11. Where does one go about finding this book you guy are talking about?
  12. I have a Spectravideo Quick Shot II Plus and wondered if it has any value. Also do any others are there any rare controllers to keep an eye out for at they thrift stores and such (thats where I got this one for $1.29).
  13. I have a hard enough time getting strikes in general, but can nearly clean house with spares. Unfortunetly that doesn't count for a perfect game. Have you tried different game selects for steerable or curveable ball?
  14. Um... Thanks I think. I guess I will sit on it an look up an old friend who had an Od 2 when we were kids, and see if he still has it and needs a game. Or maybe see if he wants to unload it and set me up with another system to collect for.
  15. I have a combo game of bowling and basketball for the Od 2 up for grabs in the market place. Check it out and make me an offer.
  16. Hey I got it in a box of 2600 games I wanted and I didn't have time or the desire to look up the value of it. So make me an offer if you don't like my price tag.
  17. I got this in a box of 2600 games and have no use for it, since I have no Odyssey 2 to play it on. The cartridge has bowling and basketball on it and I am unsure if it works (I have no means of testing it). I am unsure of the value, but thought $5 U.S. for game and shipping to anywhere in the U.S. would be good. If interested message me, post here or email at [email protected]
  18. So does this mean I have 12 steps to follow? LOL! I plan on staying in this hobby for a long time. I don't play video games much but if I do I prefer the old 2600 games for the nostalgia of my child hood. My brothers and I wore out two different 2600's back in the day and I hate thinking we got rid of our old collection. I did move up to a Nintendo NES but got rid of that several years ago and have played most of the newer systems but just haven't found the desire to own anything but a 2600 or maybe (but I doubt it) a 7800.
  19. Thanks for the words of encouragement, If thats what you call it. So far my fave is Video Pinball. I would consider more games for my favorites, but Most of the ones I like alot are two player only or just more fun with multi players and my wife doesn't care to play much. I am starting to get my two oldest kids (I have 3, ages 18 months, 4 and almost 6) into it but they get frustrated easy when learning a new game and give up too fast. I guess give them time and I'll have them hooked right?
  20. I recently got a 2600 with two joy sticks and 75 games off of evil-bay and got lucky that the seller was local so I didn't have to pay shipping. I already have a 2600 and some games but after sorting through the games I found some good ones to add to my collection. Nothing too rare, but some label variations and several titles that are fun to play. Now I have two working systems and only need one, so if any body needs a 2600 wood grain case four switch style with a few games and two controllers (missing the black stick boots but still work) let me know and we'll hammer out a deal. This is really beginning to get addicting.
