Ummmm.... (looks on Internet)... Yes, just like that!

Hey, I have a quick question regarding the "score" flag in CTRLPF. If I set the D1 bit to 1, the left side of the playfield will use the player 0 color, the right side will use player 1. Will the ball color be affected? Or will is still use the COLUPF color?

Actually, given the current popularity with 3D movies and increases in technology, I'm surprised that a new handheld console hasn't come out.

Yes, yes... keep the puns flowing!

Here is a mockup of one of my favorite homebrews - Go Fish! ... but this is the BP version. Yes, the humor is rather dark. Sadly, it isn't just Go Fish.

Is it possible? (Gunstar Heroes on Super Nintendo)

Oddly enough, I am positive that the 2600 can create a decent version of the game. The 2600 can easily handle the vertical animation of the game. The only shortcoming would be the 5-bit sound. However, some incredible music works have been created on the Atari. -
For falls, the classic fall sound - falling pitch sound - would work great. For hitting an enemy, Panky can be mirrored right-left very quickly and play a sound of some sort. That approach works great for Elevators Amiss. Anyway, we are a needy bunch, aren't we Great game in any case.

Wow, it looks great so far!

I love that game! ... it might pay for a room in a nice hotel... one with a really bad track record of elevator maintenance.

I think Panky the Panda is great name all by itself. Perhaps, a tongue-in-cheek title would make everyone happy: Panky the Panda and the Mystic Bamboo.
-
Very fun - and very intense! For some reason, I just die suddenly. I think a virus spawns under the ship on some occasion.
-
I love the work you did on the title screen. It is definitely one of those "I can't believe this is an 2600" moments! Are you going to add a death sound effect?
-
Very impressive!

Wow, very impressive. I like how you used player 1 to draw the border... the animation is very smooth. Using the missile to draw the car is very clever! Graphically, this game looks great!
-
Hee hee. You found that too. I think its nice feature...
-
I have no idea how to play the game, but I am impressed with this! The graphics and effects are exemplary! ... now, I have to learn to play!
-
Sounds like a neat idea.

In case anyone wants to take a look, Alex posted the latest binary on page #10: I hope he is doing well. This is an incredible game - and some of the finest work ever done on the Atari. ... and given the difficulty of writing games, this is probably the finest game programming ever.
-
This game is turning out great - it is quite fun and a marvel of pushing the Atari hardware past the point of sanity! Is it just me, or does everyone hum the Tron theme when they play this?
-
Really exceptional work. The animation is smooth now - which makes the game even more enjoyable! I like the Tetris music as well. Is there anyway to make it play by default?

Looks great so far! -
I love that idea! It also gives you the ability to create rather advanced levels. For instance, you have to fall down to make it to a platform in the level below. But, in any case, this is going to be a great game!

This is truly impressive work! I love the enemy designs in this version. The flicker is also don't extremely well. I can't wait to see your next release!
-
Wow. The ooze effect is excellent! ... and kinda gross!

This project is amazing. I didn't notice the music at first - at least until I accidentally turned it on by fig-iting with the controls (well the function keys). It would be nice if the music would always default on - and would be disabled if the switch is changed.
