  1. I'm not sure if this will help. But My Version of The Popeye Cart is "Version 2.3 C" and it does indeed crash when you start a game. I was unaware until recently there were other versions out there.
  2. My Tests: 7800 Popeye - Boots up but Freezes at the Start of the game. Cannot Play Rampage - Boots to a Yellow Screen full of garbage pixels, sound plays. Pac Man Collection - PERFECT Frenzy - PERFECT Baby Pac-Man - PERFECT Double Dragon - Black Screen 2600 Zoo Keeper - Shows Colored Bars, does not play.
  3. I tried Pac-Man 5200 on the Gamestation pro, and there is a high pitched whine when starting the game. Game is playable but that high whine is really bad on the ears. happens sometimes with the intermissions too. Do I have a Bad ROM or is this an emulator issue?. No other 5200 game I tried does this.
  4. Bummed that Popeye wasn’t working. It’s pretty amazing, I’m guessing it’s some kind of super wonder chip set that just can’t be emulated?
  5. I can test things out on the 2600 and 7800 side. Especially with homebrews. Sign me up!
  6. I would love to see Homebrew games running on the 2600+. Mostly for the 7800. I have Popeye, Pac man Collection, KC Munchkin and Jr pac Man.... plus More all ready to go. Also.. some way to make the Atari Vox work with the games. It DOES play the chime and speaks "AtariVOX" but doesn't work with the games. It's probably really hard to get that working because of how the games load up, but it would be super cool if that worked.
  7. Ordered one a few days ago. Do you e-mail info (or tracking) after it ships?
  8. Can't wait to get Zoo Keeper! Thanks for updating us on the progress!
  9. I have an SVC Chaos MVS Cart that seems to have bad sound. I can run MVS Carts on my AES System with a converter, and while this one boots up fine (plays the Neo Geo Jingle), once the game starts the sound is just loud static. None of my other MVS carts do this. I've tried giving it a deep clean, but was wondering if there is anything else I could do to get this working?
  10. Sorry if this has been asked, but Is there a time frame as to when new orders (like placed today) will be filled? EDIT: Oops, answer was on the pre order site. Sorry.
  11. Hi All. I currently have a physical copy of D2K for the Intellevision, but I would really like to have a ROM to boot up on Emulators (since hooking up my system is kind of a pain with my current set up). I saw a few threads about a ROM you could buy, or donate for but all the links are dead. Also I read that if you do have a ROM if it, it has personal info encoded to it so you cant redistribute. I'm not interested in making it public, I want it for just me. Is there any way to go about getting a ROM? I understand if it's not possible.
  12. It's definitely a bit of a bummer, but overall, I'm still happy with my 77 and the work you guys are doing for it!
  13. Real question here. Do you think that it's even remotely possible for the Retron 77 to read Homebrew Carts? I've heard it could possible be fixed with Firmware, but I know nothing about these kind of things. And Since I don't have ROMS of my homebrews, I was hoping there was even the smallest possibility.
  14. A Longshot, but is there any possible way I could get a ROM for my AtariMax? I bought an actual cartridge a while ago, but my system is in need of repair at the moment. I mean, I understand if thats a no go, but I thought I would ask.
  15. Saw this on the 5200 Podcast and HAD to have it! Gotta throw it on my AtariMax later today!!!
  16. I managed to clear the "8CD-I" Message and got the menu to boot after it was left unplugged for an hour. Tried a game again and it instantly failed and did nothing like before. I only saw the "8CD-I" message once more after powering it on and off few times. These games I have are Burns obviously... maybe that had something to do with it. Also I noticed that the power cord that shipped with it was a 3 prong cord... and the System only needed a two prong, so perhaps it was a Power fault? Anyway, the dude on eBay was super cool about it and refunded me... I sent the unit back and am on the hunt for a working one. But I really don't know why....
  17. Hey all, I was wondering if someone could shed some light on this problem. I recently bought a Philips CDI 910 off of eBay. This system was pristine and was worked on. I got everything with it, and when I first booted it up, everything was fine. I was playing Hotel Mario (which was a freebie) and it was running great, then it freaked out and went to a black screen. Now When I turn it back on I get a message on the front LED display that says "8CD-I" and it does nothing. Won't even load the menu screen. Is my timekeeper chip at fault here? Anyone with experience with this unit please help me out... I really like this thing (I know its cheesy) and dont really want to send it back...
  18. sorry for reviving an old topic... but Google brought me here. I have an expansion module 3 and can't get it to run Tapes. Do I need the Printer???
  19. Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I wanted to know if Tengen ever ported Space Harrier to the NES, Officially?
  20. Nothing yet.. but I remain optimistic that it will arrive Monday....
  21. I will be consistently bugging my mail carrier this week!
  22. Theres a repair center in town that supposedly repairs anything video game related ... Im gonna take it to them because opening this thing up scares me more than anything....
