  1. Mine arrived yesterday... couldn't bring myself to stop playing. It is a masterpiece! Writing the Review this weekend !
  2. Once my copy arrives, I will be posting a review on www.gaming-age.com ... I would expect a surge of new orders after it's posted.
  3. mine can't arrive soon enough ... I don't even think I have that old ROM that was floating around. I should check.
  4. Yep... that's my desk chair! You have one too?
  5. Sitting on pins and needles, waiting. I should probably switch chairs to one that doesn't have so many pins in it.... More comfortable ...
  6. COOOL! I got permission to write the review! can't wait to get it!
  7. If it's OK, I would like to give this game a proper review on Gaming-Age.com, if my editor agrees. (We usually don't review classics, unless they appear on Xbox Live or PSN) ... But I think it would be interesting to get to word out to a larger audience that there are still new games coming out for classics systems.
  8. I Must be patient..... Patient ..... :/ This is tough....
  9. Well, at least we can get that Tempest now... what would be a hoot, if the game was finished WITH the secret plans included!!! Like as soon as you hit that score... you get them!!

    5200 Tempest

    Ordered! Can... Not... Wait!
  11. Ordered mine! Can't wait to play.
  12. My first 5200 was purchased from a South Jersey electronics store called "Crazy Eddies". If you do a search for the name, I'm sure you'll turn up some interesting stories about how "Eddies" entire stock was from stolen or hijacked trucks. Basically, my first 5200 was stolen goods. It wasn't the only system I got there either... Plus some of the games I owned originally were bought there too. He didn't get caught until the early 90s I think. Anyway, the console was replaced by a Sega Master System a while later ... I didn't get another 5200 until late 2012 when I learned how to repair the controllers.
  13. I had a similar issue, and now use an old VCR. It really does work wonders!
  14. Ahh... I opened up the system and saw where to adjust. I was hesitant since all my other games work great. I don't want to lose functionality in everything else....
  15. I think Tower Toppler is on par (if not better looking) with some NES titles.
  16. Just got my system back yesterday ... all I can say is W O W!!! AV Out, Great Controllers, A PAUSE Button!!!! I played my system so much after I got it back... I forgot to eat! The Mods are worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!!! If you have a Colecovision... you need these upgrades!!!!
  17. I found a copy of this game recently... and sadly it was a dead cart. No Ninjas for me...
  18. take it easy and get better! That's all you can and should do!
  19. I opened the cart, cleaned extremely well and checked to see if anything looked strange. Found nothing out of the ordinary, and the contacts are pristine... Still not working. Must be a dead soldier. I had 2 Mario Bros. carts act the same way. Meh ... at least the box is cool.
  20. if anyone can get it running in MAME, Aaron can!!!
  21. Tried cleaning it once, maybe it wasn't a good enough job... Ill give it another try tomorrow.

    Ninja Golf

I found a copy of Ninja Golf on Amazon. Looked like it was never played, but it will not boot up in my 7800, just get a black screen. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
  23. I just found a copy of Zaxxon for the 5200, and when I play it, I can't go left. All other controls work fine, just won't go left. I checked the controller on other games, and left works on them. Is it the cart? I know it was kinda hard to get In the system....
  24. I had the same issue with a space Invaders cart. I had to open it up and thoroughly clean the contacts. Worked after that.
