  1. I really like in the 2600 version, that the hunter sets Congo bongo completely on fire when he catches him. It's like he's saying... I've had enough of his crap, so buuuuurn!!!
  2. Ooof... the Auction ended....and someone spent 500 bucks on a fake... OUCH!
  3. Ordered a Copy on Amazon last night ... Can't wait until it gets here!
  4. I recently scored a Pooyan 2600 Cart and it does not fit into the 7800 at all. one of these might do the trick! I'll look into it.
  5. I just found a working Atari 5200 4 port at my local shop. Had to clean and practically rebuild the controllers, but now that that's done, it's time for some great gaming! I once owned a 5200 when it was new (I think I was about 5 or 6) and I remember not playing it much. I got a bunch of carts from the same shop too, and I am trying to remember what games I had for the system. One in particular was Countermesure, which I remember was not very fun...so I didn't get that one. What I have so far: Pac Man Centipede Missle Command Dig Dug Robotron 2084 (with controller holder) Ms. Pac Man Vanguard Moon Patrol Super Breakout Anything else I should loof for? Also interested in Protos and Homebrews (if there are any)
  6. As far as I can tell. Everything is fine with the unit itself. Plays games great And types really well. It's just... Not being able to hear these classic sounds is kinda ...blah. Here's a strange thing I found. I put the console on channel 3 and only get a picture on channel 4. Channel 3 with show nothing. When I switch it to channel 2, the picture shows up on channel 3. That's bizarre right? So I think there is definitely something screwy with this RF unit inside. Incidentally... This whole experience has been really fun. The seller was awesome with replys and sending everything I need... And I've been learning tons about this computer. Once I get an AV mod done, it will be an awesome end to a neat experience. Just wish I could do it myself... I can't find anything on the net about it.
  7. Well, I fixed the black screen problem. Turned out there were no chips in the unit (a fact that the seller QUICKLY Remedied). Now, I can't get any picture through the TV alone. I have to hook it up through a VCR that is hooked into AV to see anything. The Sound is my issue now... all I get is static for sound.... I cannot clear it up. Tried two different TVs and its the same thing. Would an internal AV mod fix this issue?
  8. I've always wondered if the Keyboard component ever got released. I've never seen one in the wild.
  9. Im taking to a repair shop my friend owns, gonna open it up there and see what I can see. I'm guessing something came loose in shipping.
  10. Just got one of these today, hooked everything up, and it doesn't function. System powers up fine (LED is on) but all I get is a Black Screen. Could it be a bad Antenna IN port? ... or something else?
  11. My Colecovision does this as well. I have a similar TV. And the Expansion Module for 2600 games is Always Black and White.
  12. I'm going to start calling my 360 ....the X-B-O-X Three hundred and Sixty!
  13. WOW... really? Thanks!!! I love this forum!
  14. I just started using this Emulator last night. I like what it can do already, but are there plans to make a Full Screen Option?
  15. I think I will start with the base unit first. Some of those games are available at the store where I would pick up the system. I saw two there that I never heard of. One was called Ultra Vortex (the screens on the back of the box LOOKED cool, but I didn't play it) and something called Trevor McFur in something... Looked like a shooter and I like Shooters!
  16. OK. I thought the cart was needed. I might be getting a Jaguar soon, what games should I be looking for?
  17. Was watching the AVGN video where he tried to review the Jaguar CD attachment. He said two different systems he bought didn't work, while the Jaguar worked fine. I was looking into getting a Jaguar CD when I came across something called a Bypass Cartridge. I don't remember the AVGN having one of those and maybe thats why his systems didn't work? my (might be stupid) question is... do you need the Bypass Cartridge to use the CD attachment?
  18. Neat idea! I would buy one of those!
  19. I really didn't know it looked like that. I may have to pick that up. My Local store has a copy!
  20. LOVE EM! Reminds me of an old site where you could design your own Atari Cart labels... I can't remember what it was though.
  21. I just talked to a long time poster on another forum I moderate. He claims it's not a hoax, and knows at least one person who designed it. This MAY come to light after all, as this poster has no reason to lie... Personally, I would love to see this come out! I am HOPING!!!!
  22. I read this on Intellevisionlives.com COLECOVISION CARTRIDGE [COLECO #2430] Based on the Data East arcade game Programmed at Mattel Electronics, France [MATTEL #7514/UNRELEASED] CATALOG DESCRIPTION As chef PETER PEPPER, you are trying to build terrific hamburgers while menacing hot dogs, pickles and eggs are out to ruin your meal! Based on the arcade game. DEVELOPMENT HISTORY The success of Intellivision BurgerTime caused Marketing to ask for the game on every platform possible. This Colecovision version was done at the Mattel office in France. The game was announced at the January, 1984 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Although Mattel Electronics was closed a few weeks later, the French office stayed in business under the name Nice Ideas. They completed BurgerTime, which was distributed by Coleco. Maybe Nice Ideas thought that was the title of the game?
  23. NSCX.com has this on their website as a HOAX. I tend to agree... since the SNK logo is Missing The Playmore Part.
