  1. Just bought some more 2600 games on eBay... been a while. Finally gonna have a copy of Ghostbusters!!

  2. This is... amazing. I FINALLY understand Golf on the 2600. And I love it!!!

There's definitely something about the Golf games on the 2600.

Have you tried Miniature Golf? It also looks as primitive as stone knives today, but there's a lot more to it than meets the eye. It's actually the game that I play the most on my Flashback Portable.

    2. BassGuitari

      BassGuitari

Right? I never understood the hate for Golf.

    3. StanJr

      StanJr

As long as the essence of golf is there, any golf game can be great. This is why Golf Power on the NES is a mess.

  3. I was honestly trying to report Trademark infringement and I realized... you can't contact ANY business really anymore... there's never a 1800 number or E-Mail address like there used to be... Contact infor is limited to a set of Q&A and links to Twitter and Facebook!

I guess they want you to FOLLOW and LIKE them but not contact them.

If they pay me, sure. Otherwise not interested.

Not when they essentially tell you they don't want to talk with you.

      That really is the message.

Don't call us, we'll call you.

  4. Looking for a Hatchet-Man in Australia...

  5. Holy smokes! "Stinky Diver" was Shipwreck all along! All these years and I never knew...

Ah yes, Action League Now. It probably had Robot Chicken beat by a good decade.

  6. Are there any Canadian EBay sellers on here? I wanna sell some stuff for the first time and Canada Post seems even crazier then when I'm buying things!!!

    1. Torr

      Torr

There's got to be at least one person here who use EBay to sell stuff AND is from Canada... do you REALLY have to charge people 20 bucks shipping for something the size of a matchbox and is wirth $1-$2? I'm not exaggerating. I Wish I was

    2. Siyahamba

      Siyahamba

Yes, and that sounds about right, unfortunately.

I just shipped a small package to the US and it cost almost $20 and it was very light. I suppose I could have gotten it cheaper but I wanted tracking.

  7. I had no idea SH: Shattered Memories for PS2 was so pricey.. or ebay is lying to me.. I got one for trade if it IS worth something!

funny considering the better wii version is reasonable

  8. Why are SO many 'selfies' taken in Public Bathrooms? Are school photograghers soon gonna add this to their repertoire? "We have the countryside background, we also have the abstract art motif, and our most popluar choice, the public shitter... so what'll be Sally?"

    1. nofrills100

      nofrills100

[beginrant] Why are so many selfies taken - full stop. The amount of narcissism these days is totally off the scale. I frequently see whole instagram accounts of 1000's of photographs of selfies and almost nothing else... Damn there are some serious underlying mental illnesses out there [/endrant]

    2. jaybird3rd

      jaybird3rd

Exactly. Why take selfies at all? This isn't something that a sane person is so compelled to do.

    3. Torr

      Torr

I consider selfies to be a form of masturbation... nobody wants to photograph these people that often, but they certainly seem to enjoy having their photo taken, so they have to do it themselves... which also explains why it's done in the bathroom so much! Solved! :P

  9. Holy Crap John Carpenter's Assault on Precinct 13 was an awesome movie. Why haven't I seen it before?

Kim Richards (gorgeous in Tuff Turf), plays a little girl buying ice cream and gets shot in the head

  10. Space Harrier; the space shooter that doesn't take place in space. Blew my mind (and apparently his own) when Pat Contri brought this to light on The Video Game Years.

    1. DoctorTom

      DoctorTom

Yep, and he's not a bird, dog, military jet, or cross country runner (harrier) either.

I like Space harrier 3..the space hairiest!!

  11. Man, these Valentine's Day Google doodles are a sad commentary on todays "social" life. Even "in love" and in each other's presence those 'O's can't take their eyes off their tablets for a single moment.

I'd comment but I'm too busy posting to AtariAge.

  12. Why are there SO many DISC ONLY games on eBay... who throws away jewel/dvd cases to games???

Cases break. A lot of my CD cases are cracked just from sitting on a shelf. I ripped them years ago so I don't use them. but there they are, cracked from disuse

    3. xucaen

      xucaen

      ... And idiots. Lol

    4. Torr

But still, I have many CD cases where the hinges broke or the teeth that hold the CD in place broke, but I didn't just trash the whole thing... replacement cases have been for sale forever and even without the case, the CD Booklets makes a decent jacket to prevent against scuffs...

  13. Finally got my SegaCD, Loving Silpheed and Tomcat Alley has a charm to it.

Nice! There are a lot of fun games on the Sega CD. Personally, I'm rediscovering Flink at the moment (and actually putting some time into it). There are without a doubt some hidden gems on the system! :)

      retrorussell

Silpheed is great. Road Avenger is too.

  14. THIIIIS close to finally having a SegaCD, Huzzah!
