      They may have good games, but they don't seem to be willing to put them on anything but their own systems. Even their foray into the tablet market is just licensing their IPs to other developers. I could easily see the games being on par with quality of Hotel Mario if their not lucky.

      So you have to put $299 down to pre-order? You know this kind of thing already exists, pay money for a conecpt. It's called KickStarter. The big N is basically running a KickStarter... yup, they'd better do good on their next system or they are gone the way of Sega.

      Seriously, without a price, what do you pay when you pre-order? Do you just sign a waiver saying you totally honestly swear to buy it when it is announced? Do you give them CC info and they bill you when the price IS announced??? How does this work???

      I'd say Nintendo was afraid that if their games were on other devices, there'd be no need to buy their consoles. Software may be where the profit is, but they get a small piece of each 3rd party game sold for their systems too though don't they? OR a lump sum to allow a 3rd party to put games on their systems...

      I'd say he's referring to games that have a touch based D-pad and buttons overlaid on the screen. I could never play those cause I'd be afraid of breaking it. I tend to "deathgrip" controllers!

    Is eBay ruining thrift store finds? I found Castlevania bloodlines at a salvation army the other day and they wanted $55 for it (cart and box) because they "looked it up on eBay"

      The sad part, since there is no "blue book", whatever people are willing to pay IS what it's worth, and people must be paying these prices or all these ebay sellers would have to drop their prices, cause it's not the odd person asking outrageous prices, they all seem to be. At least that's how I see it... unfortunately...
