  1. My hunch is the back of the box is blank. I know the Intellivison box of the same game was on Ebay a number of years ago. (I was part of the bidding process/war on that one.) I know that back of that one was blank. Wish I still had pics of that auction still - external drive crashed:(
  2. Not to derail this thread to much... Does anybody enjoy the gameplay of Ewok Adventure? It's still a game I try my damnest to get into - still can't.
  3. I had this guy growing up. I remember getting at some flea market when I was a kid. I found it a couple years ago sorting stuff out from a move recently - damn thing still worked albeit didnt have batteries in there (whew)! I looked up prices for one one Ebay recently and didn't realize how rare they were... A boxed one came up a while ago; I put in a nice bid (which I thought I would've won) and was completely blown out of the water. Ugh!
  4. Jim, I know a boxed Driving Demon has gotta be up high on the rarity list. The one and *only* time I'd it seen on Ebay - it went for crazy money. (Which tells me it was devoid in a lot of collector's hands)... Was Funvision games distributed overseas?
  5. I've been trying to complete my Funware collection forever. :/ I know I saw a boxed Driving Demon a while back the went for big bucks on eBay. My question: how scarce is the box for Video Vegas???? Never in my years ever even seen one. Good luck on your quest OP!
  6. RR, remember the dedicated Much Mobile used those Centuri joysticks. Although playable in MAME, those joysticks are almost a must to enjoy the game fully. I would love to locate an upright of one of these!
  7. I may be one of the few that loves Looping. Has anybody ever seen Sky Bumper in the arcades bitd? I never it's existence till MAME.
  8. I have 'Sears' Math' and a general 'Atari 2600' search going. I still kick myself for missing that one in the lot recently eBay
  9. The Sears' store my parents shopped at also had an arcade. I'll never forget the area it was in. It was in a room just to the left of the bedroom furniture department. It was also the first time I had seen Williams' Joust on location.
  10. I remember going to one around the mid to late '70s. It was my first encounter with the electro-mechanical gun games.
  11. Chris, the only one I really question on that list is Mystic Defender. I seem to recall playing this with my good friend on New Year's break - '89, '90 - from school. This good friend did work at a "mom & pop" videogame store. Maybe he had a early copy?????
  12. May I ask in why do you think these went high?
  13. Ones come to mind: BC Quest for Tires II: Grog's Revenge - Colecovision Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - NES Space Harrier 3D - SMS R-Type 3 - SNES
  14. Actually, I don't think that was priced bad at all. This is coming from a person who has a Atarisoft CIB collection (officially released ones). That fist auction I definitely agree
  15. Pretty cool you were able to snag one that early. If you dont mind me asking... where did you purchase your Genesis at in August? I had a doozy of a time trying to find one when it was first launched - I reside in the Chicagoland area!
  16. I've been playing tons of Golden Axe 2 as of late. Hands down my favorite of the series on the Genesis (second only to the arcade: Revenge of Death Adder) I just love the score of this game! I recently purchased part 3 from Ebay. Can't wait to try this one and curious since this particular game gets a bad rap.
  17. So all you need then is Chess as far as as cart-based games?
