  1. Definitely my favorite arcade periodical. On a side note... do you own any VG&CE issues? I need the UForce issue to complete that collection.
  2. Sweet. I need to go through my collection and see what's missing. Wish you had some Playmeter ones!!!!
  3. I forgot the shout out to the Kmart on Rt.64 as well. We moved out of Carol Stream, I think around '78??? The first time I set foot into Galaxy World was in '87. I really don't recall seeing when we live in the city itself.
  4. Very nice! I lived in Carol Stream in the mid '70s. Do you remember Mcdades of Rt 64? The Sears outlet store of Schmale Road? We used to live in that apartment building by the hockey arena - can't recall the name????
  5. It's one of my favorites on the Genesis. It trumps the original in gameplay (my opinion). The Genesis version's tunes are highly underrated even if Sunsoft wasn't associated with it. To me, I prefer the Genesis version over the Rock n Roll cd version. And I agree... the difficulty may be a little too hard; another issue I had was the ability to see some of the enemies in that dark color palette in some of the stages.
  6. Our local Kmart had the one pictured above like the Op's photo.
  7. Interesting. I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and don't' recall see a Target till the latter half of the '80s.
  8. I'm kinda surprised the lack of Quantums, Food Fights ,iRobots and 720's on the list.
  9. Let's discuss this game... I, for one, love this game! Unfortunately, it seems like I'm in the minority on this reading reviews and watching Youtube reviews. I see one of the big gripes on the the gameplay is where to go on certain screens. I kinda see that issue sans the instructions. Other than that though??? I definitely think it's a worthy sequel and let's face it; there has been some really awful followups to the originals! I have the Colecoversion (loose cart): played this one the most; 2600 (loose cart). How were the others versions?
  10. Thank You PB! Next question... The CBS 2 variant, how rare is that? Edit: Think I found one
  11. I would have to say Target Fun for me circa '78 or '79. My family was HUGE Sears' shoppers back then, reminds of a couple things: Late 70's, Sears was still relevant, and the 2600. I miss those days!!!!!!
  12. I'll ask the experts here... Was there any variants for this game? Meaning was there a CBS version w/ different box art?
  13. *Hides head in shame* But it did take me a while to get into Herzog Zwei. Really fun once you get an opponent comparable in skill level.

    Krull

1 of those 10 was thought to be destroyed in a fire. I don't think all of the pins still have all been accounted for yet. Supposedly, a owner has one in the midwest.

    Krull

Did you guys know there is a Krull pinball? Like the arcade it was made by Gottlieb. I would LOVE to own this! Unfortunately, only 9 (and it might be lower) still survive today.
  16. Has anybody thought about taking on Taito's Wild Western?
  17. I like Munchmobile! You really do need the two joysticks like the arcade had to get the right feel for the controls.
  18. That's exciting news sans the Eduardo part. Front Line was and still is my favorite arcade game of all time. I have most iterations of this game including the arcade upright. Looking forward to your cart release.
  19. Damn... I'm still awaiting for mine....
  20. Two Tigers: Is definitely one of my favorites.... I have vivid memories of playing one (dedicated) at a Perry Drugs < for you midwesterners. For those who don't know, there is two versions of T.T. One dedicated with flight yokes and a tape that plays some ambiance sounds (machine gunfire, I believe); other version was a conversion for Tron. The latter uses a spinner as a control. The user who posted the Youtube version has the dedicated gameplay. You can tell this by the antiaircraft guns on the ships. This version also has a throttle control for speed. The Tron conversion has the crosshairs that follow you around and doesn't have a 'throttle'.
  21. You act like we monitor Ebay every waking minute. I did have a "Sears Games" and "Math Gran Prix" on my search emails from Ebay. This was listed (unfortunately, for me) in a game lot. Grrrrr! Sucks, I would've easily paid that BIN just for that game.... Woe is me
