  1. Blue Thunder is not an easy find.... Still awaiting confimation if there is a Fright Night proto out there.
  2. Awesome! My buddy has a Middle Earth playfield, and I must say, It has to be one of the weirdest design layouts I've seen - especially the flipper arrangement! Welcome to the Atari pin club! I have a Atari Atarians myself. Nothing screams 70's more then the Atari pins....
  3. Vanguard was a pretty good port! I do miss the speech part though.... My buddy has a dedicated Vanguard - love the sideart on there. You said you had a mini Vanguard - had to be a conversion? Back to the topic, I think one of my favorite ports was Sega/Gremlin's Carnival.
  4. I don't remember the Melody Chase a couple months back.... Wow - $250! The one I kind a remember had a pretty beatup box, but I thought it went for $125ish???
  5. HOLY MOLY guys! I neved knew Space Speller and Zero In even existed till now! Maybe I didn't hit the right link or something, but was there pics of the box art for both of these guys? I'm not discounting that Melody Chase and Chess were never released in the states. But I know for fact, when K & B was liqiudated them; I/family bought everything they had. We knew of only 1 other store that had Aquarius stuff (I believe it was a Service Merchandise) that we would hit up every weekend, and I never saw both of those titles.... Maybe they were limited to certain stores? Certain regions? Can anybody confirm that Melody Chase that was on Ebay a couple years back or was a dreaming? As far as getting these two, I definitely might hit up a fellow Aqaurius collector. I don't think Ebay is the answer....
  6. Thanks Tursi! I definitely would be interested! Let me know when you're ready...
  7. Thanks Save! But I'm referring to just the TI 994 not 4A......
  8. I'm not sure if this is the appropiate forum or not for this question. But, what's the going rate for one of these? Been on a TI kick lately, and I always wanted to get one of these! There is a Ebay seller that has parts to "frankenstein" one together. Would like to try to find one complete if possible....
  9. I'm still in the hunt for these two elusive titles for a while now... Mind you, I'm only scouring Ebay for right now. The closest I've seen was a *boxed* Melody Chase a couple years back. And of course, I completely forgot about the auction. Here we are, years later, and nada! The most surprising thing is that I haven't even seen a loose cart for sale! I wonder if the denizens across the pond are hoarding them all! So... to owners, what's your story on how you obtained either one of these elusive gems?
  10. These were made by me The left one is the older one, and it look like $hit While the right one is the latest I made, better resolution Now, I need the time to print and sell them, I actually have a couples of boxes made that I need to print but can't find the time to sell them though..... Definitely interested when the time comes! BTW: Awesome job! So it's safe to say that a Slither box or a Turbo for that matter, never existed?
  11. Hmmmmm... A have a very bad feeling this is not going to be easy!
  12. Anybody else a big fan of this game? I'm in the minority, but I think Slither trumps Centipede for gameplay! I remember my parents bought my brother and I the rolleraball accessory on clearance at Zayre's - remember that store? And became a devout fan ever since! I've been in the arcade scene since the late 70's and have a collection of cabs myself. About 2 years ago, I've been on the hunt for a ded. Slither machine. Let me tell you, this is a *rare* machine! It's so rare even parts are hard to come by! This, Victory and Looping are very rare in the dedicated scene! I thanks the CV to actually make ports of some of these gems! Back to the parts, I finally got one piece for Slither....So if you have any parts for a Slither cab? Let me know! One question... has a boxed Slither ever surfaced or has it ever been comfirmed to even exist?
  13. So I missed out in the Ebay auction - damn family functions... So does anybody have a boxed Shamus for the Ti99 for sale?
  14. Some great choices! Especially Batman! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9COjyJVqQsU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-dRgTmaC6o&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08MdIUTIGKQ&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93zmvARb_RM&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ3mN5yhWCU&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=beshLnJMeFM&feature=related
  15. Game I is Endor Battle, and I thought I heard Game II is Death Star Battle. Not sure why they advertised the skiff battle... Game II box was on Ebay a while back. I remember going over 1k'ish! Has anybody ever made repro boxes of these? I know I would be definitely in line to purchase one....
  16. I would be interested in this as well.....
  17. Great Thhread! I've been on a Genesis kick myself as of late! I remember when Batman was first announced that it was coming to the Genesis.... Since I LOVED the Burton flick and saw it countless times in the summer of 1989; I couldn't wait! I was actually contemplating on buying a preorder for $90.00 - yes, that was not a type-o! I held off. While the gameplay is a little too easy, the games was one of the best audio tracks ever in a home gaming system! Some other notables I've been playing Musha Golden Axe 2 Mystic Defender Ghostbusters Granada
  18. Please have Melody Chase and/or Chess!!! *crosses fingers*
  19. Nope, its the same, and they do the same thing to arcade cabs. I was crushed when I found out my local CnC TMNT machine got destroyed a couple years ago. There was a story on one of the others forums where a guy found a Simpson's Pinball Party in the dumpster by CEC.... Yes that's the newer Stern one!
  20. See, I was the opposite. Unfortunately, almost all of the 2600 and Colecovision boxes met their fate to the garbage can! I was young and didn't know any better, and my parents never really cared.... It was the Nes era, that I was prudent enough to keep the boxes.
  21. I've been in the collecting vintage Star Wars stuff for awhile now. Specifically stuff that's boxed. In all my transactions, past and present, I had not one person send me an item that way! These transcations are in the hundreds! Now maybe I'm just lucky or they're compentent, but not once I had to give a head's up to the seller to ship in a more robust box.... And some of these items are not cheap! I wasn't being mean to TZ at all. I just got the feeling he sided with the seller a little bit. Either way the seller is a moron! To the OP, I hope you negged them and let them know your displeasure!
  22. NEWSFLASH: Everyone does not think like some posters on these forums. One thing common to forums, be they internet or otherwise, is that people have different methods of thought. I know, this is quite a revelation. Spell it out for people if you have some concerns, just to be sure. I'm not going to try to figure out what people and what they think... Yes, there are *alot* of morons on this planet! But, this person is a Ebay seller, and has an item that sells over 2 bills. Do you really think that's accceptable just to wrap the box and that's it? You know how shippers and carriers this days! My god, a monkey can figure this out (no disrespect to the monkey!) And the seller needs to be reminded of this? I'm not sure why you think when need to hold people's hand in this situation?
  23. Wow and Wow!!!! You're not familiar with Ebay and/or buying valuable items?
