well, his/her battlesphere prices are relevant atleast.
  2. I've just replaced the bios in mine CD. I installed the cracked one, so there is no switch/wires. The hardest part was to desolder the original BIOS. But first I cut its "legs". What dou you want to know? whew, hope you didnt hold your breath. i was just curious if somebody would be willing to do this when/if i was to get a cd (i would pay for it ofcourse). it seems a bit risky, and my soldering skills only went as far as installing a racketboy chip in my Saturn about 3 years ago.. i would feel alot better with somebody knowing what their doing.
  3. i feel that if he wanted to, he could have within the last few years. i sure would have lost hope by now, but hey thats me. does he still post ?
  4. I was told it was because of unresolved bugs he had not worked out yet. None of us complained about Matthias becasue we know and trust him. Intentions mean everything. so he threw in the towel ?
  5. hmm...appears there is a big anti ROM/flash factor for some in the jag scene?
  6. i seem to have read back on this forum about a peripheral that appears to have some of the capabilities of the items on the vote list: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=25150 what happened ?
  7. Built in Cat box. That would be great. For God's Sake, make a back up! It would be a back up of a broken project.....there is much re-writing to be done. This should be looked at as nothing more than a hobby project at this time. My FPGA guru's have identified everything now. That means the chip is very close to compiling. It also means tons of testing, tweaking and all the other months of work still ahead before this thing even runs any code outside of hardware debug and test code. Then of course...Atari still owns the nets...we think......so until we know.... they still have possessions?!
  8. How? We dont have Oberon either......just 99.9% of what we need to fabricate it. In other words, we still DONT have a working Oberon chip yet......We are missing two very small pieces, big enough to cause the project to halt. I have the best of the best FPGA folks I know working on this. Have faith, but don't get your hopes up too high.....no one wants this more than I. noo i feel left out in the sense that plenty of you have been in the Jag scene long enough to be able to access this kind of stuff... k well maybe i have some greed too
  9. It does to me too. It looks like the same font and the text is in the same general position of the menu text in the version that has been found. Interesting..... Course it could be just another goofy picture that they put in the game while they were working on it (much like Lance's picture). It doesn't really suggest to me that it's a more complete version of the game. exactly. but the others did bring up a good point: why a woman with a sword ? maybe because they are "space knights" (referring to the descriptions by IGN and such)? now where oh where did this build go...
  10. what magazine was that article in?? thanks noo idea. maybe it says something else on the jagudome site about where those articles come from but i dont know.
  11. so that picture is possibly misplaced is what some of you are saying? the font lettering in that picture suggest(to me) that it is SW2k. (correct me if im wrong. i dont have kasumi ninja)
  12. ok ill call IBM Two steps ahead of you. you've got to be kidding...what progress has been made with the Jag 2. Seriously lol I cannot say anything other than "w00t". there is a working Jaguar 2 PCB that exists.......it plays the regular Jaguar games aswell..... Im sticking true to the 64 bit n playing some Mario Party 2 tonight with some buds. i will be honest i am quite trashed right now but a working Jag 2 PCB sounds GNARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

  14. I dont think thre is a more complete version than the one out there...I've not seen one. There are a couple versions I think and none are completed. i had read back in the forums that the version released was found on a hard drive(?). Were any others found? also, i imagine the source code is lost for the other versions as well. That is correct. It was found on a hard drive used by Atari's music department. No other versions of Spacewar 2k were found on it. To this date no code has been found. Glenn hmm, and i believe the post said it was you that found it(?) Was any other titles we have today found in similar fashion? yep,Glenn is the man that found it!!! WOOHOO!!! dumpster diver, are we Glenn? tell me more! ive grown a curiosity to this game since i bought it and am currently awaiting its arrival.

  17. Is this picture possibly suggest that there is a more complete build of the game in existence?(The woman background) http://justclaws.atari.org/jagudome/library/gf395.jpg
  18. voted for the jaguar 2 but could have just as easily voted for battlesphere or catbox. I actually still keep changing my mind. and that is perfectly fine and normal. I think we all feel the same way.
  19. I am looking for a jaguar cd with or without box but working. Willing to trade Virtual Boy collection or NES games; if not enough, i can put some money in too. PM BACK!
  20. Not helpful. lolerzzz!!1 im jk ofcourse. pirating jagware is lame and pointless. the real thing truly feels better.
  21. Welcome back sounds like a good story with a good price behind it. Very similar to my story, except i didn't buy mine(and a few other things..): http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=119476
