It's not you. The website says that Manuel pointed to credits Ironstone Partners, Ltd. However, the company that bought out Epyx (and therefore Starpath) was Bridgestone Multimedia, Inc. I wonder what happened?
-
Wait a minute... I thought it was Bridgestone, not Ironstone?

Haven't I seen you on eBay? Welcome! Sunday, Oct. 3rd at 2PM: NECG trademeet at Christian Scott's house in JP! Be there!

Rampage was the last Activision game I acquired to complete my US Activision collection. However, I would tend to agree with CPUWIZ. Cosmic Commuter is definitely the hardest to find CIB. Loose is harder to determine, but I would lean toward RR2 too. A store near me has a whole stack of sealed Double Dragons so it's not that.

Heh heh. This same conversation is going on over at DP. I just remembered reading this though: Of course, we have no way of knowing if the guy with the box is telling the truth, or remembered what was on the box correctly.

Has anyone asked the seller how he obtained it? That would be interesting to know.

I don't like to sell on ebay as much anymore....
Keir replied to SpendTooMuchOnAtari's topic in Auction Central
I haven't sold anything on eBay since May 7, 2003. I doubt I ever will again, unless it's something non-video game related. For video games, I'll continue to use these forums or local collectors. -
Played this for the first time last night. I've always loved the C64 version, but this one? I don't know. A lot of gameplay elements are missing, though I think if I hadn't ever played a different version I'd love it. Is anyone else having trouble following the Mountain Dew cans? I have no problems with the C64 version but I have yet to get even close on this one.

The TV is on Channel 1, not 2 or 3?

I highly recommend them.

I'm the same way. Each night I play a few crappy games, then I get lucky and score relatively high and call it a night. Today I got up to 13,970.

I heard that the boxes were being sold for about $100. If someone found a very large number of the C64 boxes then I would say that the value of a boxed 5200 version of Bounty Bob has come down substantially from a year or two ago. For those who do not know the boxes and manuals for the 5200 version and the C64 version are the same except that the C64 version have a sticker placed on them. They do not have sticker residue on them, I waded through about 10 of them myself. I personally picked out the very best one of the lot for my friend hhwolfman. Then why did at least one of them still have the C64 disk and manual inside?

Sorry, the AVM is on a plane to Finland.

I would do something similar to what Pitfall Harry did when he had his huge yard sale. Invite all the local collectors down for a party, get them good and drunk, then sell them everything at or above Digital Press prices.

9,760 I really hate this game. You'll pay for this Rob!

Never mind. I already figured it out. Dude places a bid. Meets the reserve, kills the BIN. Regrets it later. Retracts his bid. Reserve is not met anymore. BIN gets reinstated. Dude now uses BIN. Nice tactic You got it! In fact Willie, the winner, explained that he did just that over here: http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=41016

The one pair of driving controllers were only included with the purchase of the Indy 500 (Sears Race) cartridge. The gatefold Indy 500/ Race cart box was included inside the fat box. Ah, like this one? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8129926204&rd=1

Bumping an old thread here because I found myself asking this same question: I've only seen the original Indy 500 in the small gatefold box, but it seems strange that they would make you buy the controllers separately with the initial game release and then bundle them later. Unless the first release of the VCS (BIG SEXY) came with driving controllers. That would make sense. Anyone know?

Last night I got up to 6,240. However, I hadn't read the manual and didn't realise you could close doors. Doh!

I'm 30.2 years old. Average age so far = 32 Sample size = 18

Zellers only released games in Canada, so you will find them all in the "Non-US Game Releases" section of the DPG.

My last submission for this week: 97,390 Oh yeah.

Be careful. Sometimes a CV power supply will work perfectly well with one system but not another (and there's really no way to tell without plugging it in).
