Who owns Tigervisions collections (NTSC owners only)
Keir replied to smile_walle's topic in Rarity Guide
I have the following, all loose: Espial King Kong Marauder Miner 2049'er Miner 2049'er Vol. II Polaris (green label) Threshold -
Finally a game I actually want to play! (I had no interest in the last 2.) Unfortunately, I don't own it either. I'll probably emulate it though. I haven't played this game in at least 15 years.

I agree that the DPG is best for comparitive purposes, but it's also a very informative book not just a rarity/price guide. Now here's the part where I show how OCD I am. Total DP value of Atari 2600 games: $2,430 Highest valued game: Death Trap ($65) Total paid for all my Atari 2600 games: $1032.28 Best deal: Death Trap ($1.58, $63.42 under) Worst deal: Dragonfire w/manual ($8, $4 over) What can I say, I was a newbie when I bought that Dragonfire. The only other games I've paid more than DP value for are complete (which the guide does not take into account). Percentage of games which are complete: 29%

FS: TG16 hucard converter adapter for imports new in box
Keir replied to defender's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
PC Engine Hucards would be the one exception to that rule. -
Oops! My mistake.

I compared your list to mine and I think you're missing these: Activision: Cosmic Commuter Crackpots Frostbite Atari: Asterix Dark Chambers Fatal Run Human Cannonball Midnight Magic Sprintmaster Star Raiders Data Age: Encounter at L-5 Parker Brothers: Popeye Strawberry Shortcake Starpath: Fireball Xonox: Spike's Peak Also, you've listed Amiga's Off Your Rocker but I think that was only a prototype.

Does anyone happen to know if these will work on a Laseractive with the NEC module? I'm guessing it won't fit with that big block on the end. -
Man, it's like a feeding frenzy in here! Glad I got all the good ones before this was posted.

Bringing bad a very old thread here.... A recent discussion in the 2600 forum made me look here to see if the rarity of Star Strike had been discussed before and hey, it had! Whether the 25,000 figure is correct, or even an accurate reflection of current availability doesn't seem to change the fact that Star Strike is far more difficult to find than a Rarity of 5 would suggest. I personally believe it should be a 7, though other people have suggested ratings of 6, 8 and even 9.

OK, I guess: Frogger 2 Mr. Do!'s Castle Q*Bert's Qubes Star Wars: The Arcade Game Replace Frogger 2 with 007 and those are the same 4 that I need.
-
1751 OK, I lied. This is one of those games that keeps you coming back for just one more try.

1455 A good start for me. I doubt I'll be playing this one as much since I pretty much know what my limit is. Unlike, say, Gravitar where I felt I got better every time I played (and could still improve my score a lot) in Kaboom I reach a point where it's just too fast.
-
39,350 Reverse gravity. Yeaarrghh! In some ways, it actually makes it easier but it also makes it much harder to get into some of the nooks and crannies where the bunkers are hiding. Haven't tried the reactor on reverse gravity yet. No kidding! It looks so easy too... Really? I'm getting 100 points for each one I shoot. You must have a rare ROM variation!

Looks great! And for the other Jeff: Wow! Did you purposely lose all your remaining lives once you got to 999,950 so that would be your final score? And did you actually pass that once to confirm that it rolled over? Also, what I'm getting from your comments is that you only did reactors after the first 4 galaxies. That means you must have done it over 200 times! Am I right? Congrats to both of you, the Gravimasters!

I also skipped the 2nd system. IMO the planets in the 3rd system are a bit easier than those in the 2nd. Wow, you're right! I didn't get to spend enough time there the first time I made it that far. Today I accidentally crashed into a planet on the 2nd system (on my way to the reactor) and by sheer luck actually managed to clear it. Went straight for the reactor after that and then nearly finished the 3rd system! 23,650

Hey I can do this too! This is how many I need for all the companies that I have 70% complete or better (loose carts): 20th Century Fox/Sirius 3 Activision 4 Atari 19 Coleco 3 Data Age 1 Froggo 1 Imagic 1 M Network 2 Parker Brothers 4 Sega 2 Telesys 1 Tigervision 3 Completed: Amiga CBS Epyx Milton Bradley Mythicon US Games/Vidtec

Yeah, I second that strategy - The spiral doesn't seem to be worth the points You get 4,000 pts for finishing one solar system, whether you do it by shooting the reactor or clearing all the planets. After trying all the planets on the second solar system and failing miserably at every one, I just went for the reactor. My new high score: 18,300

As an owner of Thrust+ Platinum, I believe that Thomas should be able to do whatever the hell he wants with his game and if anyone complains, to beat them over the head with a clear case Thrust.
-
14,250 Slowly creeping up there. The second system is so much harder than the first I'm finding it hard to get any higher.

I'm interested in buying a Nintendo Famicom
Keir replied to Brad2600's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I have a Nintendo Famicom I'd be willing to trade. It looks just like the left (red) one in that auction. Unfortunately, I don't have the hookups for it so it's untested. Looks nice sitting on a shelf though! -
WM2003'S CLEARANCE SALE!!!!NEW PRICES 5-03-04
Keir replied to worldman2003's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
By "cib" do you mean the original cardboard boxes, or just the jewel cases? -
13,600 for me! Oh, there are shields?
-
I still haven't made it to the 3rd dice wave yet (though I made it to the wave just before it once. Once.) The ones that keep killing me are the grilled cheese sandwich wave and the mint chocolate chip eskimo pie wave. And by that I mean the 2nd cookie and tire waves, respectively.

Chris++ quit your yapping and get playing because I'm onto you! 98,350
