Death Trap and Bachelor Parts for grabs ATARI 2600
Keir replied to Klove's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
That's a steal! I don't need them though, so I'll let someone else grab this one. -
Realsports Boxing
-
I don't know what's weirder... that bidding went so high, or that the Atari comes with a VIC-20 RF modulator.
-
I'd guess your collection is worth around $1000 Highlights (games that are worth $20 or more on their own): Dice Puzzle (assuming its the Panda version) Gremlins Rabbit Transit Spy Hunter Swordquest:Waterworld Tapper Tooth Protectors Track & Field
-
That's a fair price, but not what I would pay because I'm a cheap bastard.
-
Tell me I'm not the only 1 keeping a log of my high scores!
Keir replied to figgler's topic in Atari 2600
I use an Access database to keep track of my collection, and in it is a field for High score, and two more for the date and setting that the score was obtained on. Someday I'd like to enter a score for every game in my collection (that has a score, obviously) but for now I only record the ones that I feel are "worthy". -
Forget about the Quadrun and just get him to sign your butt like all the other groupies.
-
Help me find Pitfall and FastFood for 2600. No kidding!
Keir replied to figgler's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I have spares of both. Do you have a trade list? -
Was the one you got (lucky bastard ) in better shape than the one in the pic?
-
I wonder if the seller didn't finish typing up the listing. There's nothing about the system, and the games are in alphabetical order but end at "I". That would be one reason to put an insanely high starting bid on something - so that no one would bid on it before you finished editing.

Isn't that the PAL version? I still think R3 or 4 is about right though.

My advice to anyone who likes video games and is interested in getting a laserdisc player: get a Laseractive! I'd like to get some movies for mine, but only if I stumble across them at a thrift or something. Haven't seen any yet, though I found some CED movies the other day.

I'm assuming they are all comlete, and in OK shape at least.... These 2 I would buy at that price. These are surprisingly easy to find sealed. Well, not so surprising given the quality of the games. I found a whole bunch of Cruise Missiles and Sea Hawks and one Spiderdroid at a store recently for $6 each. Maybe you could talk him down since he has 2 of each. O Shea's had this one. Not worth it. Might be worth it if you're interested in odd label variations. It's the same game as Realsports Soccer though. I honestly have no idea about these.

There was an Atari that was packaged with Mogul Maniac?
-
80 columns is also good for text adventures, though I don't know how many of them support it. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Leather Godesses of Phobos and at least one other do. I may have an extra Fast Load cart I could trade you.

Yes, the 128 has a cartridge port. It's not 100% compatible, but games that don't work with it are far and few between. I've been running a C-128 in lieu of a 64 for about 8 years now, without any major concerns. MegaManFan posted a thread about how Sega cartridges apparently don't fit well into the C-128, but I don't have any Sega cartridges to test this with. I use a 128D and I always have a tough time getting cartridges in and out. It isn't just Sega, though they may be the worst offender. BTW, if you decided to get a 128 for some reason, and didn't mind spending a bit of cash, I would suggest the 128D which has a built in 1571 drive. However, you should probably just get a C64.

238 unique US-released original cartridges 4 Starpath cassettes 17 Sears versions of Atari games 2 Atari rereleases of Coleco games 21 imports 4 homebrews/hacks many duplicates So, anywhere between 238 and 286 depending on how you count it.

Sealed Mythicon games (Atari 2600) for sale/trade
Keir replied to Keir's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
These have all been sold (just in case someone were to dig up this old thread). Well, except for the 3 I kept for myself, but then they aren't sealed anymore. -
heh heh... that would be why you have to video tape your entire game to submit to TG!
-
My High Score = 413,504 (level 30) Can you tell I like this game? BTW, that was on the C64 version, but aside from the graphics it's exactly the same.

That's it! Awesome! OK, here's another...
-
@Lost Monkey: Is it Poker Plus? (because the guy with the plus sign is trying to "poke her")
-
Mine was actualy Slots, but Slot Machine is good enough.
