1. Well, this was unexpected! I hadn't been to the NECG site since maybe September. First I see that the forums have moved here, then I find out there's an actual trademeet coming up! I'll have a talk with Beth tonight and let you know if I can make it.
2. Dig Dug was always a favorite of mine in the arcades, but I'm not terribly fond of this port. 33,920
3. OK, got a chance to play a full game: 21,830 I forgot what a pain those oo demons are! Just got to make it past them and start racking up spare ships again...
4. I've been out of the loop for a while, but I can't resist a game of Demon Attack! I made it to 6,710 before my son woke up from his nap and I had to quit. Oh well.

New contest!

I didn't even notice that I had put the apostrophe in the wrong place. Good job making the last one so accomodating! Also, thanks for a fun and challenging contest. You obviously put a lot of thought into it, even if there were some mistakes near the end.
6. I would guess not, since that's the European Parker logo.

New contest!

Actually I just realized I didn't follow the instructions on the final page properly, so I guess I was right - I don't deserve the prize!

New contest!

Just submitted my answers, but I don't know if I deserve the prize, since I totally guessed on the last one. Interestingly enough, it was my first guess! Now to figure out how I was supposed to do it...

New contest!

OK, not sure how one can get Exocet from "ASDFGAH", but I too am on the Grand Finale.
10. Includes everything (box, manuals, padlock, keys, both end caps, etc.) The Lady in Wading end does not work unfortunately. Would prefer to trade - see my want list: http://www.geocities.com/metalkeir/wantlist.html
11. Wow, big box! Here are some pics of the original 1977 box, which does say 11 on the side as you guessed. The front is also different, and it has an extra top flap which is kind of weird. As far as I know the driving controllers did not come in a smaller inner box (though the cart did). Did you get the original driving controllers too? (they have a different label) Anyway, congrats on a great find!
12. Welcome to the club! I'm at around 350 unique games, but you've got at least 7 I don't have, and I haven't got anything over R8.

New contest!

Just curious, but what other titles did you guys find for #3? I only found the one that begins with C (I did find alternates for #1 and #10 though).
14. Oops! Looks like SpiceWare got on the high score list twice.
15. I decided to quit and call it a night at $419,900. Fun game. I may play it again, depending on how many people beat my score. I didn't realize that pressing the button did anything until half way through my game. That made it a lot easier. I'm wondering if there's any reason you wouldn't just hold down the button the whole game though. I mean, why put that feature in there in the first place?
16. Woah, it's Tuesday already? I tried, but I simply couldn't get past 21k again. Fun game though!
17. An even 21,000 this time. Damn, those guys get fast!
18. I would rank them this way, from most common to rarest: Quest for Quintana Roo Bump and Jump / Kung Fu Super Kicks (equally common) Bogey Blaster Glacier Patrol Universal Chaos UC is really the only rare one. Glacier Patrol is not so much rare as it is in demand because it's an original game, unlike the others.
19. Argh, I missed Thrust! Oh well, I'll get a few games in this week. Here's a start: 9,410
20. Wow, I totally missed last weeks game. No biggie. For this week, my best is 7.18 and that's really all the time I care to waste on this one.
21. Do you know what the reserve was? I just looked to see and it was not an "unreasonable" (I am sure someone thinks differently). That Math one gets pricey by itself. Cassidy 938150 US$ 399.99, according to the seller. How about that? The highest bid (mine) was below US$ 200. 938153 I'd say $399 is unreasonable. Most of those are fairly common. I don't think I paid more than $10-15 for any except for Basic Math. Maybe a little bit more for the Indy 500 with oversized box. But still less $200 total easy. In fact I've seen Basic Math around $25 before. I bet the seller had less than $200 in the set himself. 938399 I paid well under $100 for my complete set, though admittedly it took me a couple years. The most I paid for a single one was $25 for Indy 500 and that was mostly because it had the outer box. (The auction you guys are talking about didn't even have that, did it?)
22. Finally got it! Now I have all 9 #text games complete (save for 2 manuals which I am currently waiting to receive). Now I'd say my #1 most wanted Atari item is Subterranea. One of my favorite games, and the last Imagic cart I need (has been for years).
