Boxed Fast Eddie $30 BIN ($3 shipping) on ebay
Keir replied to thecolecokid's topic in Auction Central
Wow, a boxed Fast Eddie is worth that much? Glad no one else bid on this one then: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=8165339515 -
Well, this was fun to read through again. Was the mystery of the 99845 S/N ever solved?

Good news and bad news. The good news? There's a new NECG site! http://www.azureware.com/cgi-bin/necg/index.cgi The bad news? The hot spots map still has all the same non-existant places. In fact, I think that place in Malden may have closed as well. There is this one place in Bridgewater... it's called "my house" and if you want to know what's you'll find there look here: http://www.geocities.com/metalkeir/trade.html

9,732 I may actually have a chance at the top 10 this week.

Just realised I need the original 1977 manual for Surround too. I'll trade my large white one for it. -
Wanted! Odyssey 2 games, boxes, manuals and more

Want a classic game that everyone has and loves? Frogger, Diff. A, game 3 Or, if you'd rather expose people to an underrated game or one they just might not have tried, may I suggest one of these? Escape from the Mind Master, Left Diff. A, Right Diff. A or B Frogger II, Left Diff. A, Right Diff. A King Kong, game 1 (we can all try to beat bcprs1's score!) Quick Step! (requires very different strategies as a 1-player game) Solar Fox, Diff. A, game 1 Threshold, game 1 or 2

Good choice of an often ignored game! 6,216 BTW, Stan, please don't get a new camera. I would miss seeing your funky screenshots!

I just robbed mvigor of his Chase the Chuckwagon cart, so that would be my fourth R8 (and also the most I've ever spent on a single Atari game).
-
I've only had a chance to play one game since the last time, but I improved a little: 15,500 I almost made it past 1983 but I had lost a bunch of planes on the helicopter screen. Even though the '83 planes go faster than you, they're predictable so I actually found them easier than the helicopters. I know if I had some more time I could make it to the top 10. Maybe tonight...
-
Wow, shame about the box. Might be worth it just for the foam though. (I want foam. How sad is that? )
-
Congrats Mark! I never did give it a try like I said I was going to. Oh well.
-
Not a lot of activivty this week it seems! I made it to 1983 with a score of 14,200.

Who owns Tigervisions collections (NTSC owners only)
Keir replied to smile_walle's topic in Rarity Guide
I just acquired a loose Jawbreaker (I know, big whoop). Now I only need 2 more! No prize for guessing which 2 either. -
What's the end label like?
-
Just for kicks, here's the high score I got using the file dated 1/3/05.
-
Finally made it to the second screen! Didn't last long though. 21,570
-
OK, is it me? I tried that file and the same thing happened. So I downloaded Stella and got the same problem! Oh well, I wasn't going to have a very impressive score anyway.

WTB: boxes and manuals for 2600 carts (rarity 1, 2, & 3
Keir replied to Zwackery's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Hi! Would you be interested in a trade or are you only buying? I have a bunch of those, mostly Sears titles but I'm not too keen on selling. There are a bunch of common boxes I am looking for as well. -
I tried playing last night and the bin didn't work in Z26. All I got was a blannk screen and a buzzing sound. I was able to play an older bin (that I got from this thread) and it seems like a fun hack. What changes did you make between these 2 versions?
-
Yeah, sorry. I kind of gave up on part 7 and was waiting, hoping for some kind of clue.
-
OK, tried the first setting and got 16,580. I think this game is great. I'm having trouble even getting to the other mazes, but I lovethe fact that there are different mazes and that they are so big. They're more like actual mazes than say Pac-Man which looks more like a cluttered Combat obstacle course.
