I got the ghosts stuck! It happens, like Stan said, when all 4 ghosts enter the tunnel at the same time. It was pretty cool. I was able to eat 3 of them before they all came out of the center square and I would guess that if you time it right you could probably get all 4. However, I assume that intentionally using this bug is against the rules. It does make clearing the board awfully easy (though I don't kow how easy it would be to lure all 4 in there at once on purpose).

Agh! The one piece I was missing was to use the CX numbers. Damn that's clever. You wouldn't believe some of the crazy things I tried to get the answer.
I'm sorry that you finally had to give it away, but thank you. Now on to part 7. Oh boy!

First game this week: 1,964
I wasn't feeling terribly inspired to play until I read about that glitch. I'd really like to see that!
-
My first try was an embarrassing 6 meters. A few more tries and I made it to 78 meters.

I can't believe that no one mentioned the best 2-player simultaneous game on the Atari.
QUICK STEP!

Slight improvement.

This is one of those, "just one more try..." games.

So, does this mean that the Puzzy carts that are listed as PAL in the database are in fact NTSC?
-
Since you used the word "chuffed" I'm guessing yours is PAL.
Still an R7 though. Congrats!

I think I drew that wrong. Just ignore the first row. If you hold down the button and repeat the pattern in rows 2 and 3 you can clear most of the board.

This game is definitely more fun on the easier levels. Like Stan, I get very frustrated when I'm having a good game only to get hit and bounce back and forth from car to car losing all my extra cars at once.
I've tried several strategies and the only one that works is "The Bashing Crasher". I even have a pattern that I use once I knock off all the chase cars (see below). The hard part is getting the cars without letting them get you.

Ah yes, Demolition Herby! Fun game, not fantastic but certainly blows Amidar away. Looking forward to playing this one tonight.

Asteroids
Breakaway IV
Night Driver
Pong Sports (gatefold box, missing manual)
All include box and manual except Pong Sports.
Carts are tested and working.
Boxes are in fair to good condition, carts are in excellent condition.
I also have a Sears Pac-Man manual that I will add to any trade for free if you request it.
Primarily looking to trade for boxed Atari games I don't have, but will also consider items from my Want List

I still haven't been able to complete all 3 screens (was really close this time).
-
Played last night and improved slightly to 22,000.
I still can't find my Popeye cart, but ironically I got the box in the mail yesterday. Now I have the box, manual and no freaking cart.
(not that it will be hard to replace or anything) -
I still can't figure out what the 6th slice is a part of.

-
Crap I lost my cartridge! I must have thought I had 2 and traded away my only copy or something. Played a couple rounds in Z26 and got 20,950.

My final score:

Wow, yuppicide. You're on fire!
I haven't had a chance to give this another try yet. I wish I could play games at work!
-
Bumping an old thread here because I just got a bunch of B&W Imagic manuals and now I'm wondering the same thing. I'm almost definite that they did not come with the blue labeled carts. Is there a correlation between text/picture labels and the different types of manuals?
On a similar note, did the day scene Atlantis come in a day scene box with a day scene manual?
-
Here is what I need:
03 star ship - manual
Also, if someone could tell me what else came with them (catalogs, warranty cards, etc.) that would be great as I'd like to get those too. I think I have one 1977 catalog. Did the same catalog come with all 9 games?
Please have a look at my trade list:

I'm getting there! I'd been trying to get Slot Machine forever, so I finally broke down and bought it on eBay. Got it boxed for $10 shipped. Not bad I guess. Now I have every unique, US-released R1, R2 and R3 and I just need one more R4.
-
At least you've identified all the pictures. I still can't get one of them. Must wait until I get home from work to do any more head scratching though.
-
I take that back. Once I figured out what to do in part 3 it was no problem. And part 4 is the easiest of all. Part 5 on the other hand....

I assumed we were starting with the kite level. If that's correct, then my first score is 10,560.
