hmm, That's too bad. .....but i have tio check if we have all the titles in the database. the cart isnt mine. a collector from indonesia has contacted me through our website contact some days ago. i will send you some pics.

the rarity list is somewhat outdated, but we have a update prepared in the drawer. It has yet to be uploaded. The Skate Boardin and most of all other HES Titles are no rarities. you get them on agerage for AU$10 if you buy a lot. But try to complete all HES games and you'll notice that it is a nearly impossible mission.

if I am not mistaken, then Atari had assigned all UPC codes from the serial number. i would say they have begun to print the code on the backside the silver box series in 1982. Later 1983 on the bottom flap at some silver and all red and grey series boxes. many others have also their serialnumber at the end of the code. for example Imagic too. Activision had parts of the serial in the upc codetoo, but their later releases had consecutive numbering at the end instead. Other manufacturers had identical numbers on the backside of a standard box and a namesticker on the front. (Matra for example) the manufacturer could still determine the last digits of the number itself? hmm, why not the serialnumebr. this seems obvious. Whether the Taiwanese numbers have to mean something, I doubt it. hehe In europe are also thirteen-digit numbers possible (EAN-13 barcodes)

With a brief introduction of Trebor about the basic difference between Atari 7800 PAL and NTSC and with some detailed information from Mitch, how to sort and distinguish the companies and games, i hope that i have understood and implemented everything correctly. Many thanks to the two for their help and many thanks also to Philflound, for sending us some scans. I would say that we now have an almost complete database, where all the 7800 titles are listed. (PAL and NTSC) http://www.atariboxed.com/index.php?go=output&rows_per_page=9999&select_system=3 Maybe some minor informations on the detailpages of some titles are missing, but we add these infos bit by bit. If you see something wrong, please inform me. I hope you like our work and some of you can use it for compare with the own collection for completeness. As you have seen, we have fifty percent missing scans, ironically mostly PAL, but a dozen NTSC too. If anyone would like to support us, then I would be very happy. The AtariBoxed Team

Hey, it looks like that there is no demand in a complete 7800 database. , or do you leave no feedback, because every Information in the database is ok? I can not believe that. There is always something that can be optimized. Do we have really recorded all titles, or we missing an entry? some helpful feedback yould be cool. anyway. The Project grows continuously and the next update comes for sure.

Hey Phil, after a few quiet weeks today is the day. As previously announced, the 7800 Database is online. http://www.atariboxed.com I would appreciate your support, if you still want.

Hello collectors, after some research and homework, we have dared to enabled a Atari 7800 game database on our website. http://www.atariboxed.com Sure, there is still plenty of work in the 2600 section, but we wanted to have some alternation. We have entered all the information we had available and have scanned every cart and box to which we had access. Since I am not a 7800 collector, i would be happy if you can spend some time in looking at the entries. Suggestions for improvement are welcome. Are all the games in the database, or even missing a title? I am sure that every Atari 2600 collector someday holds a 7800 game in hand. Therefore, we thought that it is helpful to have a complete overview. Hmm, good question whether this is really complete. It would be nice if you can help to fill the gaps in the 7800 Database. Best regards the AtariBoxed Team

The printed numbers are very interesting. But I have not found the exact number on my tapes. I am interested in the numbers on your Survival Island and Sword of Saros. -
nice hmm, my boxes look different and do not have these shipping label.
-
hi, do you mean the Model Number CX-42 ? Normally all the joysticks were sent in larger packaging units to the dealers. Joysticks or other Controllers in packages of ten and games were shipped in packages of six. There are normal brown shipping cartons, with the imprint of the model number inside. I kept the outer packaging from everything as well, but if there are buyers or collectors for it, i doubt it. I do not know how it was handled at the remote joysticks. btw: I'm sure that someone else can still say something more. A pic of your box would be helpful.

ah cool, you have bought them Was'nt in this lot a fourth spectacular videogame cart? i can not remember the gametitle and can not find the pics i have saved, grrr. have you got the white/blue fallen off cover too? -
Hi Phil, You're damn right, if you say that there is still a lot to do with the atari 2600 database. I thought adding the 7800 Titles would be a easy and "fast" thing, to have a new feature on the website, that does not make a lot of work, because i have made the 7800 list over a year ago. yeah, In the case of Atari7800, we would add pal AND NTSC. on the other hand, i think that most of the atari 7800 collectors have a nearly full collection, because the number of titles is very managable. I hope that at least a few collectors browse through the 7800 database, haha.
