  1. Hi Trebor, many thanks for your detailed explanation and notes about the difference between 7800 pal and ntsc. This was really helpful for me. With this information, it is really easy for me to sort the games. That makes me happy. I think i have recorded all titles and important gameinformation for the database. I have to proofread the list before adding them to the database. It would be nice if you can tell me then, if we have forgot to add a title or a gameinformation, once it is in the database. at first view i have 113 Titles, if i counted correctly? (no prototypes, no homebrews, no reproductions) We thought that it would be a nice addition if we are manageable number of titles imaged provide in our database. The rating of the rarity levels comes at some point too.
  2. We need some feedback if there is interest in a 7800er database, and who knows if a visible difference between 7800 PAL and NTSC boxes and carts exist. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/236641-atari-7800-database/

  3. hmm, the condition of box and cart are not the best. no manual. Try it and put it on ebay. i would buy it for 25€.
  4. Is there any interest in a 7800er Database? We are thinking about expand the existing 2600 Database and add 7800 Titles. I would like to hear your opinion on the need, to balance priorities in our project. Because my knowledge of atari 7800 is not very good, so i would like to know from you, are there visible differences between PAL and NTSC boxes and carts, or is the only visible difference the Instructions. Sure, I can check if it is a PAL or NTSC Cart, but i would like to save me this work. Easier would be to know a visible difference. Some feedback would be very helpful. the AtariBoxed Team
  5. hey Kulp, i have added endlabel scans on a lot of cartscans, but not all. Whenever I had a little more time to scan, or the endlabel is important, because the serial number, or some Chinese characters was on, then i have added the endlabels. But for the more common carts it was unimportant for me, because we had to scan so much. The higher the rarity, the more likely is an endlabelscan present. Most interesting are the rare carts. We have access to almost all Endlabels where even an Cartscan is present in the Database. (if time permits). It would be great if you can provide us interesting endlabels, we do not have in the database.
  6. Pyramid War is not a very rare title , "compared to the other titles of this company". depending on condition, it is worth 30€ - 50€ CIB. Is the Manual available? i have bought other suntek titles for less, in the past.
  7. sad to know that he is a AA-Member. i have blocked this buyer from bidding on my auctions. additional information: how to block an ebay bidder http://www.ebay.com/gds/How-To-Block-An-eBay-Bidder-/10000000012835288/g.html oh, by the way. he has more than one account
  8. sadly yes. the manufacturer has produced a lot of these cheap games and flooded the market with low prices. you can find them mostly in the Netherlands and somewhat less common in Italy. http://www.atariboxed.com/index.php?go=detail&modul_refnumber=1655 I do not think there are several collectors for this series. On Retro Events you can buy a game of this series for 10€ boxed.
  9. The Ocean City Defender is a NTSC Cart from the Zellers Company.
  10. I sent the picture via email, together with my intermediate result. We just need a confirmation from your colleague, if this is right.
  11. ok, here are a few more titles, i can confirm. 129 Busy Police (chinese) 157 Spider-Man (chinese) 167 Hid & Seek 209 ??? (the endlabel with the chinese letters in not good enough to decipher)
  12. hey Phil, many thanks for sending us the good quality scans. We could use a few and we have filled some gaps to (nearly) complete one or the other company.I would like that other secret PAL collectors were also involved as you. For the reason of the many page views. I think it's always good when we can still offer an alternative database as the existing, to collectors. (where are you all PAL collectors from US NL GB AU CA AT IT ...) ....but we have not stopped to scan from our closet...... anyway, thanks Philflound for your great support.
  13. hey nofrills and rom hunter. can you confirm all the titles, you have postet in your list? have you seen a pic of each number? i have not all endlabelscans or other pics for approval, but i have some more titles to add. (later)
  14. the translation should be no problem. the posted pic above from nofrills means translated Rally-X. However, the translated title does not really help us in this situation
  15. we are hunting for a pattern about the number on the right side on the toplabel (only with chinese letters) oh nofrills was faster
  16. this is my current state of knowledge after some research, about the funvision carts with chinese endlabel 104 Time Warp 1Player 4 129 Keystone Kapers 1Player 1 151 River Raid 2Player 2 157 Spider-Man 1Player 1 176 World Champ.Baseball 1Player 1 182 Skiing 1Player 10 184 Dragon Treasure 2Player 8 201 Bank Heist 1Player 8 209 ??? 2Player 4 which of these carts have you in access, or someone else. I would be interested to know if 176 Super Baseball or World Championship Baseball or Pete Rose Baseball 157 Spider-Man or Spider-Fighter 182 Skiing or Ski-Run . . and so on.
  17. your Winter Vocation (singleplayer) Funvision V-Cart has 182 blablabla 單10打
  18. http://www.atariboxed.com/index.php?go=detail&modul_refnumber=2118 here we have another example. (River Raid) the chinese letters mean two player game (but i do not know how to interpret the 2) 2 單双打 we need more endlabels
  19. how many HES 7800 titles exist. i remember the user Dane. wasnt he a HES collector for 7800 and 2600? iirc he gave up collecting 2600 because of the Pitfall 2
  20. du you have an idea what the last three letters mean? they can be found on different funvision carts with chinese letters. 單8打 iirc is this the first halleys with chinese endlabel?
  21. i like the idea and we have thought in the beginning of the project a quiet moment about it. The question of Coleco was already asked. These are currently too many construction sites at once. the next thing is that we have absolutely no access to 5200 7800 to a collection at home. only 2600. asked without concessions; of how many 7800 and 5200 titles are we talking about? btw: has anyone some infos about HES Australia releases for 7800 ?
  22. The hardcases are truly a must-have.
  23. Thank You. As a collector, I have always longed for a database that meets my search criteria and my point of view in sorting the titles. For this (and other) reason(s), this project was born. I hope very much, it also helps other collectors.
