This thread in not about rarity! It´s more about good games which are underestimated in general! Right. I had not read the whole thread correctly. I was looking for information about Cosmic Commuter and have only seen this post.
-
yes i agree that this game is underrated. cosmic commuter has a rarity of 5 , but how often can it be fount on ebay or a fleamarket? i have a boxed one and i'm not sure whether it is also common like other rarity 5 , like beamrider or crossforce or miner.

That makes me curious. i have never played this game. will test it tomorrow.

hi , first of all welcome to atariage. have a good time. hmm, i dont see some unusually at the photos. i know the problem with carts from some manufactures. they wont fit very well in the old style woody consoles or darth vaders. for me at home i use these carts in a junior console much better. some manufacturers had produced very bad fitting carts (for example these ugly m-network carts ) i only can say they will fit into the slot. you only must have the patience. try to move the cart a bit left and right or up and down while pressing a bit harder with some feeling in your fingers. to answer your question of scans, you can post the pictures here at the board. We are looking forward to your contribution

yes great catch.

i have not directly considered the text labels in my collection and had looked at my list. sure, i have a lot of them, but they are mostly in lots of other stuff i'm collecting. each boxed i dont have till now, is welcome in my collection.

Schitti replied to iwan-iwanowitsch-goratschin's topic in International

Also I have Vidco Copy Cart for Atari 2600 up for Sale!
Schitti replied to crazytoy's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
hmm, many copycarts were lately offered in the marketplace. i would like to know how many aa-menbers having one. -
@Tom Blair thanks for the info. are these manuals the same as in the international boxes ? i think so. The gamenumbers i have are the same as listed at atarimania: 1501 - The Empire strikes back 1502 - Frogger 1503 - Spider-Man 1504 - Amidar 1506 - Reactor 1507 - Jedi-Arena 1511 - Action-Man . . . does exist more than these ? i would like to see such a gyruss box, if it exist (someone selling one ?)
-
congrats. the collection looks very good. i like to see pictures from other collectors, so I can see how big or small my collection is. how much boxed games do you have?
-

-
@wonder007 $400 for a sealed copycart is a very good price. i have listed that in 2005 a boxed copycart was sold on ebay for $510 in the US. wasn't there another one last year on ebay? i think so. have paid much more less for mine(boxed). i also have a loose one, don't know how much it is worth. maybe i can sell it.

My Atari 2600 collection/ new organized
Schitti replied to iwan-iwanowitsch-goratschin's topic in Atari 2600
very nice collection. congrats. (how much of your games are sealed?) you agree me if i say it is always a good feeling to sort own collection? it makes a lot of fun every time ........the bricks and planks looked better (my opinion) -
That was the longest day ever. The forum is my daily reading. I asked myself, what happened and have read about it at http://www.heise.de/newsticker/Brand-legt-.../meldung/108825 A good feeling, to be here.
-
also have never seen a shrinkwraped game. you're right with the small tape on the top and bottom of the box, the cart is packed within a plastic bag
-
i'm not a gamer just primarily a collector. (shame on me) first of all i collect boxed games, but i'm also interested in loose games if the boxed version is very hard to find. mostly brazilian carts are hard to find boxed, because of the many unknown and rare companies there. the manual is very important. only a complete game is good for my soul. i have 62% boxed games im my collection. the problem is that i often forget to look at boxed games, if the loose cart is in my collection. I can not remember everything i have loose. (too lazy to check it back every day)
-
yes i also had stored both together, but one time i lost the overview about all the sealed games. also a lot of games had the same box and you must check it back, if you get a cart in better shape for the collection. so i have decided to store them seperately. the bad thing is that sometimes i must buy the same game twice for both formats. this can be very expensive and that annoyes me especially if i need some boring boxes.
