Oh, & the minigolf place in Pavilion Place (across Fairview Ave from Rosedale) has a sizeable arcade/game room.
-
KAZ, head up to the Twin Cities- Rosedale Mall in Roseville has an arcade next to one of the anchor stores (JC Penney IIRC) & Maplewood Mall still has Aladdin's Castle. Not much classic stuff but they're there nonetheless!
-
For PS2, a good rule of thumb is any first-party (Sony) titles: Champions of Norrath: RoE Drakan: The Ancients' Gates Downhill Domination ICO The Mark of Kri They also tend to be more original & innovative.

XE version of Mario Brothers has stalagtites.

If a creature traveled unimpeded, it would never touch the POW. You'd have to punch it from either edge of the lower floor to get it on there. -
@devwebcl- cant wait to see that pic- you sure you're playing Advanced, or are you just that good?
-
5900 Who's the sadist that chose Advanced, anyway? BTW, Advanced isnt the default.

RJ replied to atari_king's topic in Atari Jaguar
Ah, newbies... -
Maybe because it's the most recognized game listed. I've never seen/heard of the others.

205,330 C'mon gang- you really need strategies for this 20+ year-old classic?

& that "Vip Grid" is actually Vid Grid, a fun puzzle game where you have to piece together music videos. Starts easy, becomes near impossible!

Good score on the Mem Track cart, too. Make sure that's the Tempest 2K GAME, not the SOUNDTRACK, which came w/ the CD unit. (The seller may think it's the game.)

Gunstar wrote: Eh, you're right...that's what I meant. Been awhile since I played. I'm not even sure when you have to fall down that hole. But Level 3 seems a bit early to use the Mace of Elements on that locked door. I thought it was higher up in the Tower. The door's in the room w/ water creatures, right?
-
There's also a point where you have to deliberately fall down a hole, there's a thief down there w/ the key who'll exchange it for something from you. I think you have to have Teleportation to get back out.

The flags stay along the same horizontal line across the screen, citadels are always in the same places.

338,270 A personal best- got past the 4th Andor Genesis mother ship. You guys know about the flags & citadels, yes?

The 2nd screenshot above matches the DataSoft disk version.

Fatal Frame had no blood since it had ghosts, & you weren't necessarily FIGHTING them, but taking their pictures! I love Silent Hill, but FF was at least on par w/ that series.

Can I/we play the Dig Dug DataSoft disk version?

You can't refill the pens- once they run out, they have to be replaced.
-
Radio Shack had some color/black ink plotter pens 20-odd years ago that fit the 1020.

I joined in late, but I've had my 800XL for 20 years & I've never heard of some of the games that've been picked/played recently. Maybe some more common games? That's the reason my participation is spotty. (& I dont emulate)
