YES!!! I often find these games I have more fun/interest in these games than the $50 new ones. Some of my best games were only $10. I try to read reviews first though- I don't just snap anything up. I find the "Buried Treasures" segment on G4TechTV's "Judgement Day" helpful too. They've featured Toy Commander & Sky Odyssey (among others) & I havent been let down yet! The guy I mentioned before also tends to measure games' worth based on whether he's heard of it. He pretty much dismisses any original, innovative game...

I'm having kind of an "argument" w/ a friend about games like this. He's big into the latest top-selling titles, while I bargain hunt for stuff like TotS & other "different", creative games. I say it's good/benefical that a vast variety of games exist/are out there, no matter if they sell big or not, while he maintains if a game doesnt make money, what good is it to anyone?

@Trip_Cannon- yeah, I'll bet... I dont emulate either...how 'bout I use the 800XL version?

If space allows, "GELKS" (my 15-year old high school nickname) or "AAA" to get right into playing.

(sigh)- we finally get back on track & it's a game I dont have... Methinks lack of games may be my downfall- my Achille's Heel, as it were.

What's the problem here- $5 each & you're HESITATING??? I'da scooped ALL of 'em up right then & there! If the store's at all decent, someone there should know SOMETHING about them- or is that why you're asking here?

Lately it's: Lynx (during downtime at work) Dreamcast (scoring 2 for 1 games left & right!) PS2 I also have 2600, 7800, 800XL, PS, Genesis, & SNES. Interest in my systems kinda comes & goes.

What I MEANT was, I dont have half the games you've played, & I've never heard of Buried Bucks or Beef Drop (Biffdrop?) What's the use in joining if I dont have the games to play? (I'm using an actual 800XL, not an emulator)

You should look into having a retailer (Video 61, Telegames, etc) doing that, then we can get the games from you through them, & give them a cut for their services...

@jedijeff- you MUST be a Jedi w/ that score!!! Ive used those strategies since playing the game in the arcade. I know all that stuff & probably never break 500K. The chef w/ the round hat (tends to guard the cone) starts chucking food nonstop & indiscriminately! Is there a game algorithm or something that ensures you're not penned in by holes/chefs at the start of every level, or is it totally random?

I just joined the 7800 HSC & am interested in this too! But I missed the first 2 months & probably dont have most of the games. I could've competed in Mr Do, Moon Patrol, & River Raid. Like the previous post, I have little time to do it...

Lord-Chaos, if you took a hit for shipping I bet you'd sell a lot more of those carts. I saw your past eBay auctions but shipping cost scared me away. I see at least 5 carts on your list I'd buy if you reduced shipping costs...

Another tip: activating "Hold Sphinx" when you get it affects it, even if you havent reached it yet. It'll be frozen when you get there!

DF- barely broke 90K- 92,589 FF- 362,000 At level 17 those chefs are INSANE. Are we expected to show proof? I wont lie about my scores.

Well, I didnt seem to see any damage indication when I shot at the body- but there was when I went for the egg chute. Did I have an advantage using the light gun? I want to make sure it's all fair & square!
