Still got my 4-switch woodgrain, tho it's changed hands a few times w/in my family. Sold, swapped & just plain LOST carts along the way, but glad to say I'm rebuilding my library! Also got a jr & a 7800 to even the 2600's workload. It don't like Activision carts no more. Took it to my folk's house for them to play. Dad took 1 hr+ playing Video Checkers- he's 70.

What system/console? 2600: Atari Miniature Golf (as Moycon said) ATARI 8-bit: Miniature Golf by David Plotkin (ANTIC 7/85, later released commercially w/ construction set) PSX: Putter Golf (Agetec) Lynx: Krazy-Ace Mini Golf (was this ever released commercially?) All I can think of...

Are you bragging or selling? If the latter then it belongs in Marketplace! Try posting when you're not so high...

Didn't mean to lead everyone on but AFTER the deal didn't happen I changed my mind about selling/trading them right now- sorry! Please don't let this influence any future trade involvement! I'm not LOOKING to get rid of them; I just offered since hfdpro asked...
-
I'm somewhat new to the whole trading thing, although I've had several successful deals on eBay & I wonder what other people think is a decent amt of time for a deal/trade from start to end? A week or 2? Is a month too long? Do you give a grace period to good traders?
-
hfdpro- do you still want my Lynx games I offered??? Let me know w/in a week or the deal's off...others are interested but I'm holding them for you!

AKA "Game of the Month." List your Top 5 here! 1. Warrior 3000 2. A-Rogue 3. Almost any JD Casten game 4. Miniature Golf (w/ construction set!) 5. Uncle Henry's Nuclear Waste Dump

Ah, OK... There's a similar thing on my Sony PS/PS2 controller cables, not round but cylindrical, & weighty. What's that?

Which is better? RC Stunt Copter or RC Helicopter?
RJ replied to ElectricTroy's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Yes, they are... Not having played RC Stunt Copter, I can't comment, but I got & enjoyed RC Helicopter- not a bad little game for 10 bucks! It's kinda short, tho- I got thru it in a few days! -

On a couple RCA cables I got w/ my8-bit(s), there's a round, about 1-inch diameter black thing about 3-4 inches from one end. It says "Chelco" (obviously the maker) & says "this end to computer". It's attached to the cable w/ a Philips head screw. Is it some sort of surge protection or what?

HEY hfdpro!!! I know you're new but do you know how to check your PM inbox? I have Lynx games you may want!!!

I tease my wife because she's so excited when the phone books arrive...so when anything happens that excites her more then me, I say "even better than the phone books?"

Using methods presented here, I cleaned my used paddles I recently bought & it seemed to work. However, my problem NOW is for plyr 1's (left)paddle to work at all, the wiring cable needs to be physically held/pushed in at the point it enters the back of the plastic paddle case. This is very awkward while playing- any ideas, short of rewiring it? Also, for seemingly irreparable shaky paddles, couldn't one just install new pots? Does Radio Shack/anyone still have them?

I PM'ed you yesterday- check your Inbox!

Pardon me for misunderstanding &/or circumventing your question, but can't you use a disk drive w/ the XEGS???
-
@Gabriel- that's the SAME lvl/boss that always got me! No time for that crap... I always hated Time Pilot too. Borrowed it not long ago but still couldn't get anywhere. It doesn't seem hard but it is for me. I LOVE Gyruss & have it for Atari 8-bit: hi score 773,550 stage 70. Got to Earth 4 times in that game (by my math!)

See Cousin Vinnie's site for mine! www.bigfishusa.com/7800/

Thanks for the lists so far! I should say "games you stand a chance in", as playing Asteroids or Space Invaders w/out firing isn't much fun... Regarding my own post above, the PSX version of Gran Prix (on Activision Classics) uses "x" to speed up, so the 2600 cart may use the fire button too. However, PSX Dolphin doesn't use a button, but does the 2600 cart? (I should know better; I LOVED that game & beat it!)
