  1. WHOOPS! Misread your post...I'm an idiot. Sorry!
  2. I have Trailblazer (5 1/4" diskette), original diskette sleeve & manual but no box. I'm interested in Lynx Rygar &/or Malibu Volleyball.
  3. My Diablo is opened & love to play this game, but I have similar games (DarkStone & Baldur's Gate: DA) & you're interested. What've you got to trade? I'm interested in Atari (not 5200), PSX/PS2, & Genesis games. PM me w/ your list. Thanks! I don't trade often but have had success w/ ndary, a possibly upcoming one w/ davidcalgary29, & maxlords on Digital Press. I have a 100% positive eBay rating too. I didn't see you on any "good trader" list...hope you're one of the good guys. Are you also over on Digital Press?
  4. The best line is when they suggest you "go in on it w/ a 'fiend' or 2." Maybe your "ghoul"fiend would wear one?
  5. Nah, I'll look for it myself when I have the time, but thanks for the offer...
  6. I thought it ONLY came out on cartridge!
  7. Yeah, I hope to find that stuff soon- THANKS!!! PS- you're right- it should be a "D".
  8. @Sharky- actually that cobweb IS an integral item in the game. In the above solution/survival kit link, step "F" says the cobweb, along w/ the kitchen sink, opens all doors. When I played/finshed it (& haven't played since) I recall being able to take the cobweb for something important...
  9. @Mock- no offense taken...are you sure that's supposed to be an "M" in your name? j/k For what it's worth, my Game Dr fixed every PS2 disc I had problems w/ but won't help Fatal Frame...then again, I can't see any scratches on the disc...
  10. @T-Bird- I don't know all the particulars, I don't work w/ parcels & have nothing to do w/ the airlines, but there is a contract between the USPS & FedEx. As the USPS doesn't have their own planes, they contracted w/ FedEx to use theirs. I believe a certain portion of cargo space can be used for USPS shipping on FedEx flights as long as it's within a certain percentage...
  11. Back in the days of the 8-bit I got the above book from the public library (a few times). It had type-in adventure games written in PILOT, BASIC, & Microsoft II BASIC. The best programs were the CREATOR & INTERPRETER which you used to create your own text adventure games. I've made a few which aren't bad IMO & still toy w/ the idea of making more, but does anyone here have their own game(s) made w/ the programs/book? I'd be interested in trading/swapping disks through the mail. Thanks!
  12. Dunno about Popular Mechanics or whatever, but Antic March 88(?) has the 3-system comparison (w/ a decidedly positive spin for the XEGS! ) www.atarimagazines.com Choose to view a single issue Table of Contents, then scroll down to find March 88. Rather simple, really. Did your school library have ANTIC Magazine?
  13. @Cafeman- is PSX Powerslave the same game as Saturn Powerslave? If so, it seems more like "Doom" w/ an Egyptian twist to me...
  14. EGM #160 (Nov 2002) has a good article on this. It lists some sites which include: www.cooljobs.com under electronic game design. www.qajobs.net http://entertainmentcareers.net/sbjobs/ under Mutimedia/Video Game category.
  15. Mock- what is it called? "Spin" something or something"spin"? You'd help quite a few people here!
  16. It doesn't take much energy at all IMO- just once around the CD (& once in reverse if you prefer). Could be a case of EXTREME laziness... BTW, I wish people would SEARCH the forums/topics for answers before posting. I know it's easier just to post, but there was a nearly identical topic under THIS one, plus I posted the same thing some weeks back (& still waiting for an answer)!
  17. According to the 1050 Disk Drive manual, which lists several error #s & explanations: 138: device timeout- "When you sent a command over the serial bus, the device did not respond within the period set by the Operating System for that device command...if the device is a cassette, the tape baud rate may have been mismeasured or the tape improperly positioned. Examine all connections to make sure they are secure..." BASICally (ha!) make sure the program starts loading in the right place & keep the sound up. You'll hear a hi-pitched long tone when it starts loading, & then a repetitive "loading noise" until it's done. Also use good cassettes (which may be hard to find these days!) as the tape ITSELF degrades w/ age & can affect performance. You might try cleaning the heads just for good measure...
  18. It's not buggy- just TOO DAMN HARD!!!

    XE Light Gun...

Xot- farther down the thread list there's one titled "light gun" authored by electrocop in which he had a similar question- I suggested Video 61 in Stacy MN. I also did some research on pricing & shipping in that thread. www.atarisales.com electrocop- did you get your Light Gun yet?
  20. If it's Legos you're into you might read this: www.atarimagazines.com/v6n6/atarischool.html It's an old article but still interesting.
  21. No probs w/ my PS2 from Launch Day. 2 friends have Xbox(es), no probs known. 2 coworkers have PS2s, no probs known. Another guy had a PS2, got Xbox due to lack of interest in PS2 software. No one I know, young or old, has a Gamecube.
  22. My Game Dr has saved a few PS2 discs already, but Rick said his disc had "deep scratches", which may call for more drastic measures.
  23. PS: 40 PS2: 25 That's about as "modern" as I get...
  24. I got everything you all did so far & framed my certificate & displayed it in my spare bedroom/"game room".
  25. Atari 2600/7800: Crystal Castles PSX: Iron Soldier 3/PowerSlave PS2: Deus Ex My other systems have sadly been untouched since the last post of this kind.
