  1. Thx for the modern technology lesson! I take pics with my phone all the time. I just dont feel it necessary to post score pics here since I dont lie about them & my word should be good enough.
  2. Yeah, I usually look at this site on my 1930s ipad, which cant handle tons of pics/videos anymore. So why would I contribute to that? I can try to get one uploaded IF I get a chance to play again this week. You likely wont believe this either but I have about an hour freetime any given day to myself, & it's not often spent playing Atari. Those days were over about 20 years ago. Again, I assure you Im not the kind of person who'd do/does that. If you dont believe what I post, thats on you. It's the truth.
  3. Wellll...the trackball ain't that great on this game either. It surely doesnt do as well as the arcade game, where you can zip all the way along straightaways with a flick of your hand.
  4. No I dont take pics for the HSC, IDK how, I'm not technically savvy, which means I have to bug my wife to do it, & I'm sure she thinks I should be doing something practical/productive. Plus it's just a friendly gaming contest on an elderly console, would anyone REALLY cheat by lying about their score? I'm guessing the contest moderators would have people participate, rather than kick them out because they dont provide pics. & when the bonuses call for posting pics, I dont do that either, since (once again) it's a friendly contest that's for fun. But I will try to best it, or at least get close. I wanna see that "final" screen again! I forgot to say it's all ghosts & skeletons on that level too.
  5. CC 228,783 The "final" screen (before the castles start over again) has 4 towers in a row along the back, maybe 1 on each left & right hand side, a smaller boomerang-shaped level, with a short elevator up/down to the larger foreground area. Fuzzy memory since it's been about 25 yrs since I've seen it.
  6. Yay!!! One I like & actually do well on! BTW, I got past the final castle BITD. It just starts over with the first castle/3 crystal balls at a higher difficulty.
  7. IIRR- If I remember right IIRC- If I recall correctly Inky- glad you're enjoying the SA Controller Dauber- I knew your Vegas story was about to go sour when you said the Pinball HoF was on Fremont. It's on Tropicana! Peter Weller also starred in "Cat Chaser". He was RoboCop 2 as well but bailed for part 3, Robert John Burke took over. (the original RoboCop wasnt 90s, it was 1987) it was my favorite movie until Die Hard came out a summer later. No RoboCop? No Running Man? Wow, Dauber's missed some good movies.
  8. No gameplay for me this time. Every Saturday at 6am I'd sneak down to the family/rec room & watch 5 hours of cartoons, & I never missed the "Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show" which was 90 min of various Warner Bros cartoons. I liked them because the Bugs Bunny humor wasnt so low brow, & I liked the gadgets & methods Wile E. Coyote used to try to catch the Road Runner.
  9. Plaque Attack 29,035 If we're getting a grace period for the busy weekend or something.
  10. Cleaned out my mom's barn today & my long-lost Activision Laser Blast "!!!1,000,000!!!" patch is still missing

    1. save2600

      save2600

did you forget that your mom stitched it to your old jean jacket, that you proudly wore to school BITD?

  11. Tell Bill it's pronounced PAHS'-tyoo-muss
  12. Co-host on "91 Reasons" podcast said Atari 2600 Empire Strikes Back was a small dot shooting a larger dot. Well...no. & the play area was like a desert...which Hoth basically was, but of ice & snow.
  13. Fully enjoyed this event! After seeing Steve Wiebe at a similar event 2 years back, we could use more events like this. My son & I met Billy, Walter Day, & Brian Kuh (King of Kong fame) & I got Billy to autograph 2 T-shirts, a set of unopened Pac-Man drinking glasses, & a free poster available there (now framed & in my gameroom). Walter Day was such a nice guy, my son said he wishes Walter were his grandpa or uncle. & wait- who's that messing around behind the Pac Man machine...?
  14. "Join Josh Houslander and Rudy Ferretti every week for the very best in the competitive video game underground. Josh and Rudy are back with their first show of 2017! This week the duo takes on politics as the Donald Trump era is now really upon us. Are his detractors not giving him a fair chance? Is there real worry for the American people regarding the Russian and Trump talk or is simple all being overblown. Also this week Josh and Rudy get into a little sports and of course competitive gaming to close out the show." :ponder: Well, I see nothing here I'm interested in...but that's just me.
  15. 1850 Got to Snags level! Pulled off a couple perfect 1st rounds! Still hate it.
  16. 220 I hope we start playing good games soon.
  17. C'mon ferg I made that one up myself!
  18. Pac & Pal is also available on one of the Jakks Plug & Play NAMCO joysticks, it has 12 games, an excellent twisty stick for Pole Position, & Xevious is an unplayable mess. IIRR it's the one BEFORE the one that looks like a Pac-Man. Yeah, I hate fart jokes too. That type of humor is just below the belt.
  19. Spell "Grieg's Hall" please. Also, is number 4's clue "Tim wreck"?
  20. 11,200 Never cared for this one either. Frustrating poor man's Defender ripoff. I like the weapon sounds though.
  21. Ferg (& Zerbe) really cut loose on it. Of the podcasts I sub to, it's probably the one that makes me laugh most.
