  1. This is great to hear!!!! I don't have an RCA Studio II currently but it's one of my favorite systems! Glad to see it getting some attention. Looking forward to this.
  2. I got mine back with the backlit LCD screen and it's amazing! I really do feel like my Microvision has a new lease on life. I like how the graphics seem to pop with the LCD and for me being able to play the Microvision at night even in dim or no lighting has been a game changer. I definitely use my Microvision a lot more than I ever have since buying it. Also battery life seems to be great. This was definitely one of my favorite gaming purchases of 2020. Curious to hear what folks think when they get theirs. Thank you Richard, this is excellent work!
  3. Most welcome. Thanks to you I know what this game is, and it's very cool. I watched a YouTube video with some guys playing it, looks really fun and the voice does sound spooky. Oh wow the master reel, that's very cool! As a New Yorker, I appreciate the NYC ties in this story. Didn't know that's where Arista was based. 300,000 units wow that's quite a bit. Would've loved to have seen the inside of that cargo plane. USB turntables are great. I don't have one currently, just a bluetooth one but they come in handy for preserving these old records. Looking forward to taking a listen. Neat that you've archived them. Awesome seeing that receipt as well. Voice of the Mummy would make for a cool game night.
  4. I echo this, though my first purchase from Richard is the backlit LCD screen for the Microvision, however after seeing Richard's Voice of the Mummy page I'm getting interested in one of those too! The Voice of the Mummy looks so cool. What have you done? LOL But truly great work, and I appreciate your passion and professionalism when it comes to classic games. ?
  5. Hope you do feel better. You're in my thoughts.
  6. This is great to hear, the APF M1000 is one of those obscure systems I'd like to play.
  7. I'm looking for an RCA Studio II console with the switch box and power supply in working condition. I can either buy it or I have a few things I'm thinking of selling that I could trade instead: Microvision console with early screen rot but otherwise working with the box and 2 boxed games, loose Odyssey 1 console with 4 controllers - mostly works but the vertical line shows when it wants to and some of the controls are jittery, and a boxed Mattel Electronics Auto Race. Also have a Retro Tink I could part with since I've ended up not needing it.
  8. I'm in for 4 screens, 2 regular (non backlit) and 2 backlit. Also this thread inspired me to get a Microvision so I'm glad I can partake in the excitement. Cool little system, it's like my favorite new retro thing.
  9. Inspired by this thread, I bought a Microvision, hoping the screen works but I'll find out shortly. I hope a drop in solution can be achieved, I'm not handy with a solder, but I would like to show my new Microvision some love, so if this becomes a possibility in the future, hopefully someone can offer soldering or repair services.
  10. It was my pleasure, watching live will definitely be a new fun thing I'm adding to my weekly routine. Watching you guys actually inspired me to play my 2600 after. That's so cool I didn't know you have the developers on the chat, will be sure to interact in there more next time. Great work. ?
  11. I watched your livestream for the first time yesterday, made me glad to have a Twitch account, it was so much fun!
  12. It looks like a very fun, intricate game. I commented in the Facebook group but I love the artwork of the overlay on this one as well! Looking forward to playing. That's great that the overlays are scanned and will be available for printing! This will be a great resource for anyone who may have the cards but not the overlays or who may want to print new overlays to prevent wear and tear on the originals. Thank you for all your hard, great work!
  13. I bought these 2 KC Munchkin games from Michael at Good Deal Games, and as you can see from the case and extras (from KC's Escape), it's top notch stuff. Michael was super nice over email and shipped the games really quickly. Will definitely be a repeat customer, and if you're an Odyssey 2 fan as well, I recommend these.
  14. Agree! Michael is a very nice guy, I've only had email interactions with him but hope to meet him at a future convention. Definitely can say buy with confidence and support his store. Lots of great homebrews for various systems.
  15. Mine just arrived, I snuck a few rounds with it as I'm working, but WOW this is GREAT! Can't believe I've held out on getting a Harmony for so long, this is amazing. I may hardly get any sleep tonight. ?
  16. I just bought 2 Odyssey2 homebrews from Good Deal Games recently. The turnaround time is really fast as is shipping, things are a little slower now as they go to the post office a bit less often due to COVID19. But still with all that it was super fast. As for the Odyssey 2 games I have, I say the labels and case design look pretty good quality to me. They're also great about returns if you decide you don't like a game for any reason. A few months back I bought a 2600 homebrew there, the quality of the label seemed good to me, but for whatever reason even after them sending me a replacement game, the game would always show a rolling image on my 2600 so I was able to return both copies for a refund. They're great to work with.
  17. I was just playing Pac-Man 4K, which I hadn't in a while, and was blown away by how great it looks, sounds and plays. Very much looking forward to Aadvark when it arrives, the box also looks amazing. Funny enough, this thread and the store review is what led me to finally get Aadvark, so you might be right. ? Oh I'm also expecting the Harmony cart today as well so I feel like I'm doing a good job catching the bug. In$piration!!! Now that's very accurate. ??? Sweet, I actually wasn't aware of ZeroPageHomebrew, also love that I can catch the livestream tomorrow, nice! I will and you too! ?️
  18. The only homebrew I own for the 2600 is Pac-Man 4K, until now as I've just ordered Aadvark, inspired by this thread.
