Birds of Steel, Spec Ops: The Line, or Xcom. I feel like buying a modern game, but it seems that I have more choice than I had thought of this years titles.

  I'm not a 3rdPS (or any _PS) fan, but I'd been hearing the exact opposite about the new spec ops. *From what I hear*, it reminds me of Dreamweb (my favorite game). Evils of man, somewhat painful experience, questioning the game's motives and such. What was the bad spot about it? Everybody's gushing about it, and even though the action's not my thing, maybe the rest is.
