Trying to watch transformers dark side of the moon. Halfway through, no idea what's going on. Vaguely I do, but I can't think of a reasonable reason why any of it is happening.
I'm actually still trying to make it through. I started yesterday and gave up--now I'm up to military in squirrel suits? Really? Why? Why are they even bringing guns if they're so worthless?
Yup, that sounds typical of today's effects-laden, plot-free extravaganzas. Yet people (especially those who never broaden their horizons and watch great movies of the past) somehow slurp it all up and think it's genius.
