You could try the trick of heating the end of a BIC pen with a lighter and cramming it into the screw head while it's liquid. Give itaminute or two to set (the freezer is a good choice). Works for GameCube and NES secure screws anyway.

Yeah, I've used pliers and things to accomplish it before, but I'm looking more for the proper solution so I never have to worry about it again.
