for the gamecube, Teconmoon's vc injector makes it a lot easier. No need for a second usb drive, or vwii modding. It takes care of the nintendont settings, and pretty well hides its use. Everything launches from and returns to the wiiu menu.

Yikes. That looks powerful and a little tempting. Most of my WiiU games are digital store purchases so I'd hate to screw it up, but that's cool that it exists.

Modding does impact how the eshop can be interacted with. But the full wii u store library is available on usb helper. I can still get to the eshop after running a small tool, but can now think of no reason to ever go there again.
