    Has youtube forgotten how to pronounce 'subsequent' and 'divisive'? It was bad enough when they started saying 'addicting' a decade or so ago.

      My guess is that they learned the word by reading it vs hearing it, which speaks more to the vocabulary level of their media or schooling. It's actually possible kids no longer get sent home with lists of vocabulary words.
