Sorry FND, $400 was my max. Realistically though I'm not looking to spend more than 3 bills, but it kept going up.No problem
Thanks for considering it but as you said the price keeps going up which is why
I really don't want to sell it since I will need to buy one later when things turn around.
The price I am asking for is what I am hoping I could buy another one for at a later time
so its kinda like my "pry it out of my dead hands price"

If anyone is interested in a River Patrol great condition (scans available) I have one, Cart Only, I would be willing to sell for 450.00

The tape is no longer available.
Also video games do not qualify as Media Mail and if the post office opens it in transit to check, they have started to do this, they will charge the buyer the extra amount.

Quest for Quintana Roo (Sunrise) - Rarity Level 8
Boxed, Instructions, Great shape
Remove the 5200 sticker and it becomes a 2600 box. large tear on the back of box is a big disappointment

According to the bid history page krisnjen is the winner.
Is that you?
also here are the terms according to the seller page
"A 15% buyers premium will be charged. Sales in the State of Indiana will be charged a 6% sales tax unless buyer can show proof of tax-exempt status. Final invoice will be provided to buyer within 3 days. Any lots not paid for and/or removed within 30 days of auction may be resold without further notice. "
So if you are the winner you should receive a invoice soon.
Also noticed this disclaimer at the bottom of the auction page
Bidders are required to:
a) Sign up for this auction
&
b) Complete bidding approval form
Approval is at the discretion of the Auction House.
So if this was not done maybe your bid was not accepted?
Never did a live auction, so I have no idea about how you get notified or
how to find out about the time frame.

OK I guess I should say that MIB to me is only a presumption on my part and as long as the box is still sealed the item is presumed mint, however once the box is opened it could only be near Mint from then on.
I am probably taking mint to an extreme but its the only way I can justify it in my mind, I have seen it used in other hobbies with more than one level like Mint 8 and Mint 9, I just can't understand how it could be used that way
Mint should have the highest level of perfection so any amount of wear should lower its grade even if its just the oil from your finger its less then perfect now, I know this probably sounds crazy to most but its just my personnel opinion and not meant to be taken as a standard.

To me MIB means perfect in all respects (box & contents) it would also have to be sealed as Mint to me means untouched and I would never consider a opened item as Mint, at best an opened item would be Near Mint

I have a old copy of Windows and if I remember right the box says Windows 286 I believe, does that sound right ? I will have to go to storage and take a look for it.
BTW a few years ago I sold my complete copy's of DOS 1.0 and 1.1 on ebay for a surprising amount

Its posable most are saving there money for CGE ? this could be a good opertunity for someone.
BTW it has not reached what I paid for it and although I would like to at least get my money back I guaranty it will be sold for the ending price, I never end auctions early or stop them because they do not reach what I think they are worth, once a opening bid is placed its going to be sold, no surprises.

A plus is it is NTSC playableYou actually play X-Man? What a waste of time. That game sucks big time

True
In my defence I only said it was playable not that I enjoyed playing it

The price is a little high but I have never seen one of these before, thought it was interesting

Are you sure the proto is dead? Perhaps it's just unencrypted? I know GATO didn't work when I plugged it into a 7800 for that very reason. Have you tried dumping it?Tempest
Interesting I hadn't considered that, I guess I should try dumping it.
Thanks for the heads up

Not to long ago I found one but it must have bit rot as I can't get anything to come up when I load itWhat game?
I have a few 7800 protos (Desert Falcon, Hat Trick, GATO, Karateka, Midnight Mutants) but I had to buy them

Tempest
The labels have fallen off so I have no idea what game it was, here is a scan of the board it has the GCC name on the front and Atari
on the back ( I put the happy face stickers over the windows ) I also included another 7800 Proto board I had forgotten I had, I tried
to enhance the scan so you could read the writing but it came out pretty grainy, at the top it says "ATARI 7800 POKEY CART REV A"
I actually I have two of those but the other one does not have the extra toggle switch under the small ZIF socket and does not have
the above mentioned writting Instead it says "ACTION A0105330 REV. A1" on the back and "C06461 A1" on the front

I never found a 7800 proto either. Hopefully one of these days!

So tell me FND, are you happy with the end price ?

I can say it was close to what I had expected so Yes I am happy
with the out come but I wish I could have kept it as I doubt I will ever
be in the position to get another one.

I just came across 10 NES protos (Tengen), which includes the unreleased Airball. The last Atari Protos I found were the 1 Alligator People and the 2 carts of Planet of the Apes back in 2002.
You have got to be the greates proto hunter of all time, I would follow you around but I'm afraid to get hit by lightning or somthning since you
must have some sort of pact with the Proto Gods

Yes, I would have to say its a Rare label version of a Rare cart, Where that puts it on the rarity chart is hard to say but at the time there are only two confirmed in the hands of collectors. How much demand is there for this label variations is hard to gauge but I guess we will find out pretty soon.
BTW I found mine to play fine on a NTSC system
