#10, 9, 2, and 1 upset me. #10 - MS's raping and pillaging (in the memory aspect) of their customers is crazy. #9 - I hate both Pirates and DRM. I pay for my games and the jackarses that steal it put pressure on the companies that publish games to shove DRM on the honest users like us. (even though the DRM is usually cracked at the time of release or earlier). #2 - Region lock is crazy for all of the reasons mentioned in the article. #1 - MS Points are a racket and designed in a manner to be deceptive. On a positive light Amazon now has a number of items that are priced with a monetary value and not the tricky MS Points. As far as the other points on the list, most of them I don't care much. They don't effect me as I will choose to not to buy either the game or system. I am surprised that the PSP Go made the list, yet the DSi was skipped. (If you think about it they are the same broken versions of their previous versions)

Received my copy this morning. Well done. The velcro was a nice touch to fasten the cart in the case.

Congrats on the PSP sale...........it was a good price for someone that wanted a CFW PSP and didn't want to do it themselves.

I tried it out tonight for the first time. It was a better experience than I had expected. I enjoy trivia games, but not that good at them usually. This was fun and the questions were pretty fair. Moycon or anyone else that wants to play in a group my tag is Elw00d77 . And you can't beat the chance to win something for nothing (unless you count putting your knowledge in a database as I am sure they are collecting all of the data about the answers in some kind of database to sell later) for every correct answer.

If Ninja's comment about the $250 price point is correct.......I don't know why anyone would buy it. Even a (currently to my knowledge) non-hackable 3000 would be a better purchase. The new Go would essentially render the existing library of games useless (Sony is denying the end user of cheap older titles sold at used game stores like Game Stop and the like). AND I am leary of buying games that require downloading. Companies don't last forever..........so in turn nor do online downloads of purchased content/games. I doubt Sony will fail anytime soon, but I like physical media.

Have followed any of the recomendations in the thread yet? Did you wait until you got your new PS3 to mess with your PSN account? Have you changed the password on that yet, if you hadn't before via the internet?

As a couple have mentioned before, 400 will be my price point for me to pick it up.

I have Pac Man CE, but I think I'll see if the local GS has that compilation. Feeding Frenzy and Luxor2 would be nice. I personally think having it on disk is a bonus too.

Ite.......if you had sensitive personal information on your PS3, like CC #, you should contact Sony immediately. If not, then you should be able to log into your PSN account and change the password. After that you would be able to re-download all of the content you had purchased on your new PS3. I think the content is tied to the account not the console, there may be a limited number of tranfers though. The scumbag thief should lose both of his thumbs.

If this is true I will be overjoyed. Cimerians, I loved all of those titles you mentioned. Weren't the Indy games LucasArts as well? Who knows, maybe they could do all of the titles eventually if they use a SCUMM engine. I would love a So you want to be a Hero remake on the 360 (if it is a SCUMM deal). And even some of the Sierra games as well. I know I am dreaming, but let me dream.

Pink.........my favorite XBLA games are few but pretty excellent in my opinion............Castle Crashers, Pinball FX, PacMan CE, and I still enjoy Tapper.

I would love to see a good A-Team game............a Mr. T game would leave alot to be desired.

Wickey, Backing up the games is a bit of a pain if you don't have a slot 2 card, it takes about an hour for 1 game. With a slot 2 card I have heard it is significantly quicker, I dumped my games before I got the 3in1. As far as playing the DS games with the AK2 no patching is neccesary, you can place the game files wherever you want on the micro sd. I would suggest using AKAIO firmware instead of the AK2 firmware. Setting up the firmware is as easy as uncompressing a file and loading the contents onto your Micro SD card. Now that you will have a flash cart there are a number of great homebrew/ports for the DS you should look into. Just to name a few... StellaDS (of course) DRONS (a very cool game based on TRONs light speeders game.) DS Organise (an application that is very useful) DS Doom (you need your own WADs) ScummVM (we all know of this, you need your own original files) Arcomage (a card game kind of like Magic) DSLair (this is an unauthorized port of Dragon Lairs first couple of levels) MegaETK (kinda like Mega Man) There are others but I don't want to sound too long winded. I got my AK2 from Dealextreme.com as well. But understand that the ship time will be quite long. Not only are they shipping from Hong Kong, but they are a no stock supplier. Meaning that they don't carry any stock and usually wait until they get enough orders to require a purchase of items. The good thing is they are cheap and if you are looking for an AK2 you will get a genuine AK2.1 blue pcb card. Just my other 2 cents. The actual ship time to Midwest US was 11 days, that is after HK post received the items. If you are impatient there are other reputable re-sellers that can fill the order quicker if cost is not a factor. El

Wickey, I broke down and purchased a Flash Cart right before Christmas. I went with the Acekard 2. The AK2 supports micro sdhc cards, so you can have more than 2GB. I don't know how many games you have so that may not be an issue. Also if you have many GBA games I would pick up an EZ Flash 3in1 slot 2 card. It is always best to do your own research as well because only you know what you are looking for from the card. GBATemp is primarily dedicated to this stuff and would be a great resource to check out. Good luck. El

Gabriel, This is one of my favorite games. (Not that I have a huge library, about 15 games) I never was real good at any of the original Civ games, but they were always great fun. Civ 1 was my favorite so it makes sense I would enjoy this as it has a simplified Tech tree. I am slowly working my way through all of the Achievements. El

I don't purchase enough online to be confused as to what came from where, but I do like seeing an invoice with the package. I wouldn't be terribly upset if one is not included though. (This applies to purchases from a company) El
