There is also a Sony CD-I unit that is smaller than this one. I have a small one made by Kyocera that doesn't have the screen (optional) and I got it for something like $15.00 shipped. Just 1 of my 4 different CD-I systems(would like more).

1-Try swapping the carts around and see if it follows the game. 2-Have you cleaned the carts contacts?

Notice how the controllers look like Famicom controllers in the diagram?

I have played it, the year it came out 1999/2000. I thought it was an OK game with actual ARCADE LOADING SCREEN! It took something like 15-25 seconds for the stages to load up. I thought it was a little too easy in the earlier levels, I was only able to play it for about 5 levels after I got tired of the repetetiveness of fighting the same things over and over and.................... I have only seen one here in St. Louis.

It's pretty sad when the preview picture is bigger than the actual picture. Maybe they accidentally used a thumbnail.

A funny way to explain a glitch...:D

Mattel also had a "feature" on Star Hark that it would "hyperspace" you automatically if you get in a "black hole" IIRC. -
CD+G are Music CD's with encoded graphics (+G). That is how the earlier karaoke discs work. There are a fer music CD's that show the graphics, The Jimmi Hendrix Experiment, Information Society and a few others that I don't remember off hand. The best disk to see how it works is the Sega CD+G sampler that you were able to get with the first version of Sega CD. The pics arent spectacular, mostly scrolling and/or partial animations, kind of reminds me of old computer loading screens when it slowly scrolls(depending of Artist/Song) across the screen. The data for the CD+G is placed in something like the 2nd-7th bits (tracks within the track-Track 1 is the music, 8 is the time codes)that aren't normally used in normal music mode-IIRC- don't quote me on this. I could be way off on the "bit" info

I can't believe nobody mentioned Donkey Konga and Super Monkey Ball (2).

What console had the coolest carts?
Ralph3 replied to sega saturn x's topic in Classic Console Discussion
The best has to be the Bally Astrocade's "Cassetridges". NES is way too big for the little board inside (Famicoms were cool in the small and different sizes.) Worst is Nintendo 64 with no end label -
The newer Priority Mail smalles 2 size boxes have "Priority Mail" printed on the inside of the boxes to prevent that. But the larger boxes don't.

Classic Light Gun Games.... All Consoles
Ralph3 replied to Blackjack's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Starsky & Hutch on X-Box (and soon on PS2) has light gun support, one person drives around and the other player shoots stuff on the screen. The Virtua Cop series on Saturn is good also. (Was supposed to be out on PS2 about a year ago but no current word on it). The Time Crisis 3 on PS2 is Split screen or Dual system/dual screen support for 2 players. The shooting stage of Die Hard Trilogy on PS was pretty good. Stay away from Judge Dredd on PS. REALLY BAD!!!! -

Looks like Manci is trying to make some money back on his failure of a collecting magazine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8136804295&rd=1 The pages were of poor quality and would rip under normal use for a collector who would be flipping through.

Is this true about Gust Buster working on both the ColecoVision and 2600 on the same cart? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8136622356&rd=1

And those are the SMALL amps. I have seen the ones that can double as living room tables. You need like its own dedicated circuit in the fuse box for each one.

Stronghold is sold! I have a tabletop Spiders game for sale now! It is in great condition, every light element works. The only thing wrong with it is the battery compartment-the battery connections have some rust on them, not a big deal-it works great though. Now accepting offers on it now.

Some home stereo equitpment (and computers) have a voltage switch on back by the plug. All you would need is a different power cable if it has a tetachable cord. -
