I am selling some of my stuff so I can get a new(used POS) car, my current car's transmission went out (again), just replaced it in May. And I have no job right now(I am looking hard) so I am selling off some of my stuff. To start off, I am getting rid of my Holy Grail game Stronghold with pics attached. I can send pics of the other following items if requested. Some video game related stuff, some stereo stuff (home and car), some other stuff. Serious inquiries only. I will be adding stuff regularly. 1-Beautiful Atari 2600 Stronghold. Even nicer than the one on ebay right now. 2-Boxed 4 swith Atari 2600 with matching serial numbers. 3-Sega Genesis (version 2) with Rental carrying case, 3-3 button controllers, 1-6 button controllers, 2 RF, 2 power supplys, and system. Rental place etched on case and system, but very clean. 4-N64 carrying case-NEW 5-Audio Control Epicenter for car stereo. Works, with control knob. Needs standard 4 wire phone cord to control unit. 6-Home stereo spectrum analizer with mic. Will add more details tomorrow. I will ship the items in a new box, NO shipping label on the 2600 box stuff here! Well padded and packaged! I will try to split the shipping charges on the large stuff, actual shipping on the large stuff. Priority shipping is what I will ship with. Insurance is optional but recommended. Just PM me or e-mail me at rst3 at hotmail dot com if you're instered and I'll try to make a deal with you. I will send you the pics from my Yahoo mail account (that is where the pics are stored). I'll take money orders, checks(must clear before shipping), well concealed cash and PayPal if I really need to. I have sold through Ebay through my job at Trade-N-Games so I know how to package stuff and my record is pretty good. I will add more stuff tomorrow(Thursday).

Maybe that is how Imagic get away with the same "Space Zap" type level in their game. Very, very similar, but with different graphics.

I was cleaning my Jag carts with this foaming fabric/carpet cleaner. I had NO problems cleaning any games with this stuff, so I am cleaning my Jag games and all of a sudden, I came up with a blank cart label. Oh $h!t , I messed up my Zero 5 label. Was almost completely black when I started, when I finished-COMPLETELY WHITE. So now it has a neat hand drawn label. I might submit a pic soon. (will need to take the pic)

Prototype Atari joypad - anyone have any thoughts?
Ralph3 replied to bcprs1's topic in Auction Central
I remember bidding on that a few months (maybe a year) ago and it went for something like $40.00 (my max was $15.00). -
I got mine from a reference from this site. The plastic seam isn't so bad on mine.

Here in St. Louis, there is a Slot machine(one armed bandit type) store and I think they also sell stands: http://www.stlouisslot.com/ Or you can make one yourself.

I have 2 boxes full (store display) unopened loose packs I got on ebay a year ago for under $10 SHIPPED! I'M GOING TO BE RICH NOW!!!!! I'll sell them to him for a low discount price of $10,000 and he can resell them for $20,000

It is with an old (1965 or so) bar stool. When you sit down, the bottom of the machine is right at your knees and it is really comfortable to play. I guess you can look for one of those wooden storage cabinets with some doors that is big enough for the Skill stop to sit on top of and to store some of your games. Like this one. I know that there is a couple ones that are just a little bit bigger.

I have mine on an old sewing machine stand

I see a pinball backglass sale coming soon. That is the only things that are salvageable(sp?) if cleaned quickly and safely. Sucks to see such rare games get ruined. Especially Orbiter, very unique pinball game, not a flat surface on the playfield.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...8133694442&rd=1 NASTY!!! Makes me sick. How high do you think it will go for?

It is defidently the board, try reseating all roms. If that doesn't work, you might have to send it in for repair. Is there an extremely hot chip (when turned on) or a scorched chip?

Even though the arcade machines are for "consumer" use, you really don't want to move them around too much. Plus, they don't look too good when they accidentally fall off a step or even worse, a truck. The only people that should be doing that are people that repair them on a normal basis to quickly repair these if a problem comes up. Not too many arcade game rental outlets out there, and they usually charge quite a bit if you can find one to rent. Unless you trade Neo Geo MVS carts.

If the color is off on the screen, it is just in need of a cap kit installed. Not too hard to do, but very dangerous. Can cost about $15.00 in parts but the labor (if you don't do it yourself) might be a little pricey at a repair shop. If you do it yourself-TAKE YOUR TIME! IT CAN KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T DO IT PROPERLY! There are a few tutorials on the web on how to do it. When they mention grounding the High-Voltage lead, it really isn't a loud snap, it is more like a knuckle pop. Good luck if you get it and do it yourself.

Anybody know where I can get free Arcade Cabinets in Omaha ?
Ralph3 replied to vintagegamer89's topic in Arcade and Pinball
1-Look in your local paper. I'm sure that there might be a couple in there. 2-Also go to places that have Video Games like bowling alleys, bars, etc. and most have a distributors sticker on it and call their number and see what they might have, they might have a damaged cab that fell off the truck you can get cheap. 3-Wait until X-Mas for the Tilt arcades have their seasonal sale. You can get a good deal on a working arcade game at a good price starting at $200 (I have seen them that cheap). 4-Come to the VG auction here in St. Louis(Bellleville Illinois-Just 20 min. outside of St. Louis) on Oct. 30th- www.superauctions.com . I got a couple working games for $35-40. They sometimes will pay you ($1.00)to take an empty/broken cabinet. It might be worth it to take the 5 hr. drive to get a cheap cab/working game. -
I'm looking for an Activision's Bridge with the label variation which shows two player had instead of the normal one player hand. Jason @ Trade-N-Games just got one for his collection. I'm just a little jealous.

Its there for the same reason you'll see it near or on elevator buttons; so blind people know what buttons to press. Or even worse- The DRIVE UP ATM machines!!!!!
-
If it has the switch at the base that says something like "Base/Stick", that is considered a single button like a standard 2600 controller with a mapable button so you can use this redemption for the Pac-Man games. http://www.atariage.com/store/product_info...products_id=256

Stupid question but I'm curious nonetheless.
Ralph3 replied to Shaggy the Atarian's topic in Arcade and Pinball
According to the KLOV http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter...=S&game_id=9977 It is a JAMMA cab. There are MANY games that will work in the cab. You might have to add a few buttons for the more complex fighting games. One thing to put into consideration is the screen position. -
I slept for 2 1/2 days when I had my 4 wisdom teeth pulled out at once. After that it wasn't too bad. Get well soon.

Just shrink the text (a little bit) and change the quality to low and print on both sides. That is what I did when I printed it up many years ago, (1997). I was putting in some of my recently aquired games in it yesterday. My hole reinforcers were coming off the pages.
-
How about making the list in a printable wordpad document.

Today, I just picked up an Atari Pong unit for $5.00 at the flea market I work at. I see a few other sellers (besides me) that have a few 2600 games and NES systems/games.
