I wish I still had my Donkey Kong Jr. Don't remember what happened to it.

It is like a mix of both- Woodgrain on front from Intv1 Detachable controllers from Intv2 Off white on top and controllers. Controllers slide out from the front, unlike either.

If I remember right(haven't looked at my collection in years) I am missing 4 GPK cards in the 1-10 series I have stored away.

What kind of cards do you have. I have all kinds myself. I even have some video games related cards I am willing to trade.

You have to consider the different resistances in the different joysticks. One might be a 50 ohm resistance and the other might be 400 ohms. I don;t remember the resistance pots the 5200 uses. I owned an actuar 5200 store display kiosk that looked like an arcade cabinet. We were constantly fixing the damn thing. Specifically- the keypad, it was cheaply made, it was a modified telephone keypad with not enough supports under it. Take your time and do it right the 1st time and you will be happy.

After doing sales at a store that sold Sony,here is my opinions about their products: All home equiptment. VCR:Crap, thay have only a handfull od VCRs now, they break often, the warranty services for them is: send it back to Sony broken, 8 weeks later they will send you a new one. The repair is more expensive than a new one so they send you a new one. TV(tube)small(27 and under):Great pic, never saw a problem. TV(tube)large(28+):Great pic, Heavier than hell, especially the 40 inch XBR widescreen, 320lb. out of the box. TV(plasma):Pretty good picture at first, after it gets broken in, great pic. TV(LCD):60inch HD, Superb and best pic I have ever sceen, and surprisingly, not too heavy. TV(Rear proj):Better than average pic, great pics on the HDs. Can get 3 of the best HDs 63 incher for the price of 1 40 inch plasma. DVD players:Cheap priced-CHEAP. Expensive-Excellent Recievers:Even the cheap ones($200), great for the price. Expensive ones($2000+)-Excellent(If you can afford them) and they get VERY warm. Cassettes:If you can still find them-great sound, heavy and expensive. Turntables:(cheap-$70)Great for the price. (expensive-$110)Excellent for the price, even has pitch(speed) control! You can tell the difference between the $75 DVD player with the $200 reciever and the $2000 DVD player with $2000 preamp and $2000 reciever. But of course you have to have great speakers to go with them like Acoustic Research, Karver, Atlantic Technology, Phase Technology(my fave), or Gallo Acoustics(small but great sound, main speakers the size of a softball, blows away Bose!).

Awesome remote!!! I am jealous!! It is considered the lower end Rolls Royce of remotes! Just lower than the color(or where you're at, colour) versions. It will operate everything that has a remote eye and the higher end radio frequency remotes like B&O. Highly programmable! You can program in icons to tune to a certain channel. Like the ESPN symbol to tune to ESPN, HBO icon for HBO and the like. Downfall:Takes a little while to get it programmed. You will never have it programmed the way you want. You will want to change stuff constantly. You can program all kinds of stuff, size/shape of "buttons" Macro commands-Push one "button" to turn on TV, tune to video, stereo on to DVD, DVD player on, DVD play, dim lights(if you have the proper plug), all with one push. I have the Harman/Kardon remote. I only got it because it was on super clearance when my work was going to Pronto's. Don't get me wrong on this, I liove my remote(especially for what I paid for it). We were selling it(before clearance) $300US and the Pronto was $400US and could do much more stuff. So, to make you feel better, it is a steal at that price!! Hope you enjoy it!!!

There is a video gamw auction the Saturday after Thanksgiving in Belleville, which is just miles outside St. Louis. I don't know where in MO you are in so I don't know how long it would take to get there. Th auction usually has 1 or 2 RP's in them, but you never know. You might get one pretty cheap too. A streo/tv store I previously worked at, a customer bought a 62 inch Sony rear projection big screen from us. He had it as a secondary TV in the basement and "never" uses it. He had it for over 9 months. He had it on the whole time with no source(dvd, cable, etc.) activated. With the TV on and not recieving any source, it shows the channel/status in the top right corner (CH 3, VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, etc). Needless to say, he had a burn in of VIDEO 2 burned into the screen. Which is not covered under warranty. That is the same as abuse. TURN OFF THE TV WHEN YOU ARE NOT WATCHING IT!

Send me the dead loose cart, I'll fix it. I have a bad 5200 Decathlon, Frogger and Gorf. Can any of those be fixed? The main one I need fixed is Decathalon. I have extra Frogger and Gorf so its no rush for those.

I stayed up all night and made it past level 250 and gave up(on my computer). I watched it being at a local arcade when it first came out and the group was past level 100.

The modern equivalent is multi-screen games and specialty controller games(such as Konami's DDR, MoCap Boxing, and Silent Scope games).Sure they CAN be ported, but just about everyone admits DDR loses something in the translation and that there's no point to home Silent Scope. Hey JB, Very true about the games you listed. DDR-Can't find a well built home pad. I've tried them all and just might actually buy an arcade dance pad from an arcade parts distributor. MoCap Boxing-It might actually work with the new PS2 Eye Toy coming out this month. Silent Scope-Can't have a home conversion without the sights moniter. Everybody else, I think the home consoles linked up in the same fashion as PC lan partys will start be popping up everywhere any day now. Halo, best game to do this, hands down!
