I wish I could have either version. Wouldn't matter either way to me. I would love if you could make some(massive amounts so they wont go for $300 each)

I just posted this on another thread before I came upon this thread:
I frequent a video game stores and goodwills in my area. The VG store had loose 2600 carts for $1.99 each with their shrinkwrap on them. Then one day I saw them at the goodwill store a few blocks down from the VG store was selling them for $4.99 each, They still had the shrinkwrap and the $1.99 sticker on it!!! If it didn't sell at a video game store for $2, why would it sell at a goodwill for $5!

I've had a single loose Atari 2600 game shipped media mail and no probs. And a box of 36 boxed 2600 carts(not exactly a small box) shipped halfway across the country media mail and no probs. Came in 5 days and shipping is quite le$$!

Hell, that must mean I have over 1,000,000 games in my collection!

And don't fprget the cellophane on the metal strips missing!

Hey, I'm trying to figure out how to put (one of) my 2600's into my car. I have just about everything else in there.

I missed a $10.00 BIN for a 2600 Crazy Climber by 3 minutes. It would've been the score of the century.

I had 24 boxes Atari 2600 games shipped to me for just over $6.00 media mail. Media mail defidently helps (if you are not in a big rush to get it!)

Shouldn't you be saying "RF Adapter".
It looks like a modified RF. I have made one(and still use it) when I got back into collecting 5200 stuff again.

I have seen a few here in St. Louis a few years back. I saw one at the arcade auction about a year ago. If I remember right, it went for about $300. Every one I have seen has the same 3 games in it- Super Mario World, Super Tennis ans F-Zero. You can get a store display for the same amount of money.

It's the "Power off...." in masking tape that drove the price up!

He (O'Shea Ltd.) doesn't have any Asteroids(or ever had any) for 2600. Only has for 7800. I got them when they were still 60 cents a piece +shipping. Now they're $5 each w/shipping.

I am in need of a few PC Engine games(Turbo Grafx 16 Import). Could be cards only, not too picky, but the games should be working. I don't need any CD or Arcade Card games at this moment. I would not like any RPG or games that you have to read a lot of non-english to get going. PM me with the games and prices you want for them. Single or lots are OK. I would pay with PayPal. I might even have some stuff to trade. I have a few boxed Lynx games if that might help.
Thanks,
Ralph

I HATE IT WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT! (screaming intended)

I had a chance to get one at a pawn shop near where I live (St. Louis) for $35.00. I was very short on funds at that moment and couldn't get it. I went back a week later and it was gone. At that time I found out that they had a layaway program. I was just a little mad after I found that out. I only had to put down $5.00!

There is an arcade auction in Mesquite Texas on Aug 16th. But if you can't wait, there is an auction here in St. Louis Missouri(Belleville Illinois actually, just 10 min. from St. Louis) on Aug. 2. Here is the info for it:
St. Louis is 9 hours away from OK City. Also you can check your local and regional papers for arcade games, even the bargain bin sometimes has games(under $200).
I almost bought an Elevator Action at a yard sale for $75.00. It was pretty clean and working(except for a small grafix glitch, probably a dirty rom)
And of course, local distributors and arcades.
You can always build one. I did. I have about 20 games in my cabinet. You can buy boards cheap (sometimes). And you can build them to your specs.
If you want some info on building a cabinet, PM me.

You can get one at Best Buy (or other stores). $40.00 for a 4 way router and 4 cables. It is with the X-Box and/or PS2 section. I am going to get one when I eventually get X-Box live and PS2 network adapt. My best friend has one hooked up in the store to link up 4 X-Boxes to the net. And of course it is for PC, PS2, and Gamecube network.

Loose logic has those quite often. Most of the time they are loose. He also sells a lot of MSX systems and games and other stuff for them quite frequently. I have been very tempted to buy a Mark III and MSX but the shipping would be murder!

This makes that big Cheeto look like a Pu$$y!
