  1. Those are obviously PAL games in the UK. Maybe a late release game at the end of the life of the DC. Might be pretty rare. Like the U.S. version of Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits Vol. 2. I currently have no UK games but a few Japan DC games that aren't released here in the US like Fighting Vipers 2, DDRs.

  3. You need the whole new SNL DVD Edition. It comes with little character figuires instead of the "pie", and its own play board-so in this instance, you need the whole set.

I just started collecting this myself. In the past month, I found a complete SNL at a thrift store for $6.00 (it's $30+ at Wal-Mart) and at another thrift store I got the Silver Screen Ed. booster box for $3.00. I think I still have the 1st Genus kit in the basement somewhere when my parents bought it when it 1st came out.

So when the weather gets better, hit the flea markets(swap meets depending where you live), and yard sales. Just hit the thrift stores in the mean time.

  4. What location did you hit?  I went to Mid Rivers and Chesterfield today.  They didn't have anything left.

    Crestwood & So. Co.

So. Co. still had about 20 Quake 3, 10 Sports packs and 10 NBA Live 99, few Perfect Darks, maybe a Carrier or 2

Crestwood had a couple Tony Hawk 2, Few Pe.rfect Darks, 20 N64 power supplies.

  5. It works flawless for me. No problems with XP here.

You actually have to turn on the computer for it to *cough*work*cough*. Yes, a 25 lb. paperweight can be considered flawless. My tower can hold the same paperwork that a rock can do well(or even better)

  6. Went back today and I got:

    DC

    Bass Fishing $0.50

    Tennis 2K2 $1.00

    (3) Sega Sports Bundles $1.20 ea. 3 game pack NFL 2K1, NBA 2K1, WSB 2K1

    (2) NBA 2K2 $2.00 ea.

    NCAA Football $1.00

    Quake 3-Arena $2.00

    Sega Marine Fishing $1.00

    GBA

    (3) Virtua Tennis $1.00 ea.

    N64

    (2)NBA Live 99 $1.50 ea.

    PS

    WCW Backstage $2.00

    Sports Extreme $1.00

    (2) Crash Bandicoot Warped $1.50 each

    GBC

Rubber glove for GBC system $0.10

    Spent about $27.00 .

Got a few duplicate games for my nephew.

Any chance the NFL 2K1, NBA 2K1, WSB 2K1 games will be like the River Patrol of today?

  7. I hit 2 TRU today. The closest one didn't have the games labeled as 90% off. I'll hit that one again tomorrow and take the list of other games with me.

Here is what I picked up today:

    DC

    Carrier $2.00

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 $0.70

    GameShark Lite $0.25

    N64

    Perfect Dark $1.00

    GBA E-Reader Card

    Excitebike $0.25

    X-Box

    Drake $5.98(Not on 90% sale)

I also picked up a crapload of these Skater Stat Cards. They are these credit card type stat cards with a microchip in them. The computer reader, portable reader, and the cards (about 40 of them) were a total of $2.95

3 packs of Creapy Freaks (Clix type characters in the same format of Garbage Pail Kids) at $0.50 a box with 2 characters in each box.

2 Timex watches at $1.00 each. One has like a fighting game and the other is an electronic fortune cookie. I got them for my niece and nephew.

  8. Jakks are NES on a chip.

The C64 is so far he only stick that plays the real games (though I also haven't tried the Sega one).

I have the Genesis one and the probs I have with it is the sound isn't correct on couple of the games. The jump sound on Sonic is 1/2 a second late-you hear the sound when you are at the top of the jump sound. The music is also quite muffled/muted on Sonic also. The other games seemed OK.

  9. It isn't worth much. The problem with tose is you need a Japanese Nintendo-Famicom- to use it and the rubber belt is usually too stretched out so you will have to replace it. In my opinion, a working one is worth no more than $50. It uses its own type of disk that was originally bought blank and used in a certain kiosk that will load the game onto the disk for a small fee. I have about 20 disks (a couple are engrish worded as "super dick" instead of "super disk" of course) and a Sharp twin model (Famicom & disk in one unit) that the belt is stretched out so it is not working right now.

I'm sure you have heard about this website called Ebay. It is a great reference.

  10. oh sure!!! Hey dude, congrats, now I'm glad I didn't put in a high bid, you'll like the kiosk a lot, but I will warn you, it is VERY VERY VEEERRRRY heavy!!!!     So if you are planning to go up/down stairs, but forewarned, its a multi-person task.

    Curt

I told Jason all about it. In some aspects, it is built better than an arcade game -like those metal rails on the corners. Hell, the cylinder is like 50 lb. alone-(seemed like when I was a kid). Very f'n heavy.

Most likely, I'll be helping him with it.
