  1. You need to venture out of Columbia and into St. Louis. Come over to Trade-N-Games and you can get just about any game you need. I found 10 Boxed Atari 2600/7800 games for $3.00 each at a thrift store on Manchester this past week. 9 of the 10 were late releases that Big Lots had 10+ years ago that they were selling for $2/$3 each. Most were still sealed with the Big Lot price stickers on them. One of the things I don't understand about thrift stores is when they get games with price tags on them-say $2.00, why try to sell them for $3.00 or more when they didn't sell for the lower price to begin with anyway.
  2. Just press the red power button on the Jag unit itself to turn it on/off.
  3. Sorry if thats already been posted. .6 is not bad at all. POINT 6 PERCENT. That is just more than a half percent of one. Electronics usually has a 6% defect rate. When I was installing car phones. I was putting in these Motorola 3 watt boosters for handheld phones. $400.00 kits! These were supposed to take 2-3 hours to install (crapload of wiring). When you get done you test it of course. And 75% of the time they didn't work. That's 3 out of 4 sets damn near Dead on installation. You can spend another 2 hours tracking the problem down, and it could be a COUPLE problems. Fix the problem and another one could pop up. The damn things could turn out to be an all day affair. If the customers actually knew the problems with these things, they would've thrown their phones at me. So .6 is absolutely no big deal. I'm sure the DS has a few dead pixel problems that have been turned in. By the way, I have the 1st series of PlayStation and I never had a laser problem(and it has been chipped) and a 1st day release PlayStation 2 and no problems with that either, and I did use it as a DVD player-A LOT!
  4. YOU ARE LUCKY TO BE ALIVE! That is high voltage you are f'ing around with! You are supposed to discharge it by grounding it to the chassis. That is VERY DANGEROUS! Do it least 3 or 4 times at a few minute intervals before removing. I use a screwdriver with a ground wire attached to it to the chassis. Wou will hear a small crackle sound when you do it. Scary the first time, but not as scary as damn near electrocuting yourself not doing it correctly.
  5. If the release game titles are true for the release window, it will at least be double, maybe triple what the DS has so far! I'm defidently looking forward to it. I was planning on getting the big pack anyways. Here is how I break it down: System:$180.00(Face it, it is better than DS and can do much more) Memory Card:~$40.00 Headphones/remote:$35.00 (I like the ones that came with my Clie PDA) Carrying case:$10.00 Polishing/cleaning cloth:$5.00 Demo Disk:$15.00 +whatever else comes with it Total:$285.00 Spiderman 2 is just a bonus
  6. How can you sell your n'sync dolls. Those are collectibles!! Yeah right.
  7. I have seen one fixed in a way you mentioned but you have to pay attention to the higher voltages and use the proper sized wires for the correct jumps or you will have hot/burnt wire mess all over. If you can find the model number on the tube you can post on arcade moniter parts help sites and you can find the proper board to use.
  8. Who is to say that science fiction won't happen. Fiction=False, why don't we call it something like "Science Prediction" because a lot of the stuff in the old"Sci Fi" movies have happened so they aren't false, space exploration, home automation, computers, robots, etc.....
  9. Do you have memberships to the Sams & Costco type stores. Try those, Sams had some by my house last week.
  10. Hey, Thanks for thinking of me. I need to sell a couple more things so I could something like this, and a few other things.
  11. Is the CLD-D406 an auto reversing player. I wish I could afford the heavilly copper shielded Elite version.
  12. Couple more things sold: Neo Geo BROKEN board Fatal Fury I really don't want to put them on Epay! Please buy them, I need the money.
  13. I had the same thing happen with one of my sales. He won an auction. Promptly paid with money order on 3 days. Went to leave + feedback and was NARU'd. One less + for me also. Jason (Trade-N-Games) showed me a 7800 system/boxed games lot where the original winning bidder was a NARU but had all + feedback (5) and was only a buyer. WTFIUWD (What The Fark Is Up Wit Dat)?!
  14. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=5540370660 Glad they aren't mine!
  15. I have a $1600 transmission rebuilt bill.
  16. One weekend when I was working at Trade-N-Games, Jason bought a couple 2600 systems and about 100 games. he had them in a storage drawer and he wanted me to clean them for sale. (coincidentally he was leaving town. But ALL the Coleco carts had bugs in them, iff you look in them, they have 2 nice small holes for the roaches to live in, nice and dark and easy entry/exit "doors". none of the other manufactures had any-shutter door Atari, Activision, M-Network, basically all sealed type cases and fully exposed boards had NONE! You just had to shake them out and spray them, knock it around a little, shake more loose, kill them, set them aside a warm element and wait to see if any happened to hold on and stroll out and see what was going on and shake and kill those. Jason knew they were infested but not as bad as I described. If/When you buy a used N64 and one of the 1st things to check (besides cosmetic condition) is the expansion port on the bottom, pop it off and see if any dead/live roaches live/lived there, favorite system for those damn things. It is warm in that system. You don't have to worry about buying games and other stuff from him. They are fully checked and cleaned before being put into stock.
  17. You were able to buy blank disks and put them into a game loading station (kind of like what Blockbuster had to print out your Pokemon pics) and buy games for it. It is not a standard floppy disk. I need to replace the belt on my twin unit (Famicom/disc unit in one). There are usually some typos on the labels. I have a couple labled "Super Dick" instead of "Super Disk". There were also labels and cover pages that were printed out. I will try to remember post a couple pics of my collection soon.
  18. Rocky Super Action Sports Titles-Soccer/Football, Baseball Joust (prototype exists somewhere)
  19. Gauntlet has to be one of the ultimate quarter suckers! You can feed that damn machine all day and never come to an end of the game. The highest level I saw a bunch of guys playing like a tag team, reach in the 200's. You CAN'T play the game and advance deep into the game on one quarter.
  20. It really isn't a stand, it is a cart/manual holder. It just sits on top of the 2600 on the front grooves. Big and awkward. Jason at Trade-N-Games has one for sale in his store.
  21. Guy selling his left nut- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5551143555&rd=1 Not mine™.
