Has anyone built their own standup arcade with 80's games like galaga using MAME?

 

I am wanting to do this, but I find these things wrong:

 

1) on my computer (MS Vista), i find the games don't run full-screen,,, how to get them full-screen like the original arcade games?

 

2) are there any manufacturers of mame based standup games, where I could purchase the whole system?

I want to build my own stand up Arcade game (MAME based)...... based primiarly on MsPacman /Galaga games.

 

Does anyone have plans for this or a part list?

 

I'll use a WinXp computer , and a Wells-gardner 27 in monitor (series 9400)

You might also want to try out one of the GUI versions, like MAME Plus! or MAMEUI.
