  1. Yeah ummmmm Radio Shack.....bunch of losers there. I walk in and ask them if they can test my plug and first thing the guy says is "nope we can't test those here" walks over and starts helping another customer. I was left standing at the counter like I was an idiot or something. The customer was the one that told the worker to use a volt meter and check the current. The worker then told the customer "you should get a job here". While they were trying to figure out how to turn the volt meter on I started looking for a new plug but they didn't have anything that matched what I was looking for. I took my plug and told them thanks for nothing and left. At least we have another Radio Shack in town so I will check with them. I'm crossing my fingers that they atleast know how to turn the volt meter on. Wish me luck! Is it possible to buy a new plug online?
  2. Yeah I had Donkey Kong in the console. Damn I wanted to play it too! I'll try the R/F adapter also. Clear pictures?!?! hehehehe yeah I love my camera!
  3. I tried switching the channel on the Atari as well. I am hooking it directly to the TV. Coaxial adapter straight to cable in on TV. I will take the plug down to Radio Shack tomorrow and have them check it. I hope thats all it is. Thanks for all the help.
  4. I am only using the adapter above. I am not using the switchbox. If I take it apart anything I should look for? Anything need to be reseated?
  5. No change in the screen at all. I do not have a way to test the power supply. I tried the TV on channel 2, 3 and even switched it over to "game" and nothing happen.
  6. I just pulled out my 2600 from a box in the garage. Bought the right adapters to hook it up. Got everything hooked up, turn it on and I got nothing. Where would I start to get this thing back running. I can't remember anything happening to it in the past. It was working fine the last time I used it. It has not been used in a looong time maybe 20 years. Here are some pictures if they help. Thanks in advance! adapter original plug serial #
